Emily POV
I heard this noise and looked out side to see a blue monster or whatever it was. It had a four foot long tail and eyes that I swear that glowed. I didn't know what I was doing I graded a sword that my dad had hanging up and charged I didn't know what was happening and I swung it at its neck while I heard my mom scream.
I turned around to see my mom and dad there.
"Dad I'm sorry I used the sword I just don't know what I was doing" I said.
"Scott call Robert and his wife,Emily is going to the institute".
"Pam why she only thirteen she doesn't have to go through...
"CALL THEM SCOTT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE"
Dad walked back into the house I stood there still to shocked to move.
"Mom please what's going on" I said on the verge of tears.
"You're going somewhere safe now get your stuff and wait in the living room"she explained walking back into house.
I packed my stuff crying thinking about what could I have done wrong.
I walked in to the living room with my stuff to see a man there.
I had seen him in a picture mom kept in her room with a lot of other people on it though now he was older now .
" I am Robert Lightwood",he said "you'll be coming with me to the institute"
I nodded my head and took his hand and walked through never looking back.
