"Hey big bro how she doing"Izzy said as she looked at me sitting next to Emily who was passed out in the institute hospital.

"She would be fine if it were not for the mundane"

"About that Alec, Jace went looking for her and when he found her they were attacked".

"Wait let me stop you" I began "why would I care".

Just the Hoge stormed in and yelled "where my niece!"

"Right here Hoge she ok but not getting better" I said with my lip trebling

Hoge rushed over and looked at Emily, Izzy said "Alec the little girl at the club is here in the other room she got demon venom in here so..."

"Izzy I don't care about the mundane I just want Emily to wake up"I said " Izzy please just leave".

With that Hoge kissed Emily on the forehead and led Izzy out.

"Emily please stay with me" I said " please don't leave me" I buried my head in her neck and did not raise up till planting a kiss right on her neck.

I grabbed her hand and said "Emily please I love you please don't leave me stay, if you stay I will always protect you". "I love you Emily".

With that I kissed her forehead and went to see the mundane that caused all this.

Luckily the mundane was also passed out in her room and Jace was sitting at the end of her bed watching her like not creepy at all bro.

"So this is the famous mundane that almost killed Emily" I said.

"Alec" ,Jace said "you know she not a mundane the blade lit up when she touched it"

"Ohh sure whatever go swoon over the girl while I wait for Emily to wake up". And with that I went back to Emily room and set down on the chair next to her bed.

In less than 5 minutes Emily woke up with a start.

"Emily"I said "your awake".

"Yes I am now your going to have to fill me after u give me a hug and help me up" she said
I gave her a hug and when I got her on her feet she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks Alec now fill me in".

I told her all what had happened while she was out making sure she knew about the mundane.
