Me and Alec walked back to the entrance to the city of bones.

"What's the mundane doing " Alec said toward Simon that was walking back and forth.

"Is your boyfriend always so charming " he said to me.

I blushed, then Alec said "are you always so annoying".

"Are you always a a..." Simon began, Izzy interrupted "he first born wears a heavy crown".

"I feel his pain only son my mom wants me to go to Yale" Simon spoke.

"What do you want to do" Izzy said.

"I'm in a band"Simon said.

"What kind of music Indian rock I'm guessing".

"Yea, I have some on my phone in the van if you want to hear"he said.

"Yea lets go" Izzy said taking Simon hand.

"Be careful do not leave him alone " I called.

Then Alec grabbed my side and pulled me closer to him, he buried his face in my neck leaving light kisses.

He lifted his head and said "Emily we never finish what we started" our foreheads now touching.

I was leaning in for the kiss when I heard something.

"I'll go check" I said

Just then Izzy jumped out of the bushes.

"Simon gone" she said.

"Isabel I told you to watch him"

"I did then I heard something and told him to stay in the van and went I came back he was gone" she said.

Clary and Jace just left the city of bones.

"Valentines my father" she said on the verge of tears.

"I'm sorry clary" I said

"How do you know that your not a spy" Alec said.

"Do you think I planned for my mom to get kidnapped and almost die" clary said.

"Where is Simon? "Clary asked.

"Is that the mundane name" a vampire asked.

"Raphael" I said

"Give us the cup and you get the mundane back". Raphael said.

"I don't have the ..." She started the vampire disappeared.

The vampire left with Simon.
