Crone hadn't said anything about my scars. He acted like nothing even happened, which made me mad all over again. It was his fault that I had cut myself and ran away. He needs to suck it up and be an alpha. He could've at least apologized or something.

But he didn't. He just sat around or went and did alpha things. While he was gone, I sat around and slept, or I had little conversations with Maka. Turns out, he was actually funny and nice to talk to. He was the complete opposite of Crone, which I kinda liked.

So why are you here? I'd asked him. I heard him chuckle. Well, I'd caused a little trouble with another pack and they started to chase me. I decided it would be safest to be captured on the opposite side of the country. At his words, I gasped. So you let Crone capture you? You didn't fight back?

Yeah. I just walked up to them, and they led me to their cages. Crone seemed pretty confused, but I don't think he really cared. I could picture Maka shrugging, which made me shake my head in amusement. Pretty smart thinking. I fell asleep on the edge of his territory without knowing, and now I'm stuck in this hell hole.

Maka barked with laughter, then tried to get his voice under control. But why were you a rouge in the first place? he asked curiously. I sighed, and stayed silent for a moment. If you don't want to say... he said quickly. No, no, it's okay. I ran away from home because my mate had rejected me.

Maka stayed quiet. After a second, I felt his attention stir. Crone's coming. Just to let you know. he said. I groaned and rolled onto my side, my back to the door. I closed my eyes and listened to Crone come inside and mess around downstairs. I stopped paying attention, figuring he was only coming in to get something.

I realized I was wrong when he opened the bedroom door. Keeping my eyes closed, I heard him dig in his dresser drawers. He walked back out of the room and into the bathroom. Shower. I figured out when the water turned on. I blew a breath of air through my lips, making them vibrate, and sat up.

A few minutes passed, and my boredom increased. You need a T.V. I grumbled to Crone. I heard a bottle drop in the shower and winced. I'm taking a shower, and you go and get in my head? he grumbled. The extent of my mistake hit me like a ton of bricks. I could tell my whole face turned beat red. N-no, just so you can hear me complain... I try to fix it, but I knew it was too late.

Well, try not to do it again. he growled, then shut his mind off. I grew angry, and looked around. A foam baseball was sitting on his dresser. I stomped over to it, picked it up, and gazed down at it. Without thinking, I threw it across the room. The ball bounced off the wall, and then the floor. It did make a lot of noise, but there was no damage.

Still fuming, I stalked to the window and threw it open. Crone's house had a small section of roofing outside the bedroom window, which I sat on after pulling myself through the window. The water turned off shortly after, and I heard Crone stream curse words from his mouth. Almost a minute later, he came barging through the bedroom door.

"What the hell's wrong with you?" he snapped. His footsteps paused by the baseball, and then went back to his dresser. He was probably putting it back. He returned to the window, and snarled, "What are you doing out there?" I didn't turn around when I replied with: "Sitting."

A growl ripped through the air. "Get back in here, Omega." Crone ordered. Sighing, I stood, and slipped through the open window. I stood before him, looking into his eyes blankly. He bent down to my short height and scowled at me. "No throwing things. If you're under my roof, you will obey to my rules. Got it?"

I didn't flinch. "Fine. Then I won't be under your roof." I say flatly. When I made a move to go around him, he grabbed my arm. "I don't think so." he snarled. I raised a brow. He let out a groan of fury, and stormed out of the room, down the stairs, and out of the house. I felt a familiar mind pushing at mine.

Someone's mad. Maka laughed. I let out a breath of air that I didn't realize I'd been holding. He started it. I sigh. Maka laughed some more, which made me grin. He was easy to get along with. It looks like you ended it!

I shrug, and trot downstairs to the kitchen. I was starving already. I dug through the fridge and cabinets, then pulled out a pack of fettuccine. I searched for some pots, and once I found one, I filled it three-fourths of water and set it on the burner. I also got out a stirring spoon and set it on a paper towel.

It took a while to make, eat, and clean up, but it was worth it. Once I'd finished cleaning, I put the left overs in the fridge and looked around. I'm gonna come back over. I'm really bored. I pouted to Maka. Fine by me. he replied happily.

Grinning, I walked out the front door. I noticed Crone with his back to me talking to a group of teenagers off in the distance. Good thing for me, it was in the other direction of the cages. I trotted over to the prisoners, and then to Maka. Suddenly, a feeling of desire rushed through me.

All the male wolves in the cages lifted their heads and looked at me. Some went as close as they could get and started to breath heavily through their noses. Um... That was Maka, who looked really awkward. Maybe you shouldn't come over here. I think you're in heat, Tilly.

Face palming, I groan. "Oh great." I sighed. Just for the rest of the night. I don't think it'll be as bad tomorrow then... Maka suggested. I nod, not looking at him. "Sorry. I'll see you tomorrow, then." I waved, and hurried back to Crone's place. I paused at the door, looking around the woods for him. He was strolling back over here, but wasn't paying much attention.

When a breeze rolled past me, he looked up. His golden eyes looked as sharp as a knife, and he paused his walking. I scurried back inside, slamming the door shut. He looked royally pissed off, and like he was going to murder me.
