He swam on, only stopping when he tasted metal in the water. When he opened his eyes, he was surrounded by red stains spreading slowly over the surface.
He could barely look at his boyfriend's face. Dan's eyes were closed and his mouth barely open. Phil didn't even want to think why. All he could do was hope that he wasn't too late to save Dan.
