You opened the front cover on your favorite magazine and started to read. You tried really hard to concentrate on what you were reading while random kids ran around the store screaming bloody murder. You sighed in frustration as you closed the magazine and put it inside the cubby of your works station as a young women walked up to the cash register clutching the hand of her three-year-old son.

She placed the teenage mutant ninja turtle costume onto the counter and glared at it. She then looked up at you with a smile.

"Is there a problem with this costume?" You asked her with a raised eyebrow.

"No i just wanted Carter to be something different this year, but he insists on wearing the same costume every year." The women said while referring to her young son.

Carter smiled at you when he saw your shirt.

"Which one is your favorite?" He asked you with a child-like innocence.

You looked down at your TMNT shirt and smiled. You looked back up to meet his hazel eyes.

"(Insert favorite TMNT name)." You told him with a smile.

He looked at you with wide eyes.

"He's my favorite too!" You smiled at how childish he was acting.

You could tell by the costume that was sitting on the counter, that he was telling the truth. And judging by the kid's shirt and shoes, you could tell that he was obsessed.

You smiled at his childishness as you rung up the mom's purchase.

"That will be ten dollars." You said to her politely.

She handed you a twenty and told you to keep the change. You started to object but it was already too late because she had already started to walk out the door. Carter looked back at you and waved goodbye. And as they walked out the door you couldn't help but pointing out just how rude the mom was.

"(Y/n), Will you please unload the new inventory in the brown box in the back storage closet before you go home?" Your Aunt Sophia asked you as she was putting on her coat.

Yes you worked at your aunt's Halloween store, 'Halloween Spirit'. As to why you're working here, well let's just say that you kind of broken one of her expensive windows and didn't have a way to pay her back. Your mom came up with the idea about you working at your aunt's store for free - meaning that every single cent you made would go to her.

Sure it might've been unfair at first, but it was your fault after all. So you collected your pride and took on the challenge that is working at this hell-hole of a store. But hey at least you got to be the things that made you happy the most: the creepy and unusual.

All of your life you were know as the 'weird child', and not a single member of your family knew why you chose to be different, but your aunt understood. She too was a fan of the creepy and unusual. So naturally she was the only person who has ever seen you as their equal which is why you decided to take the job in the first place.

You nodded and smiled at her attire. She was dressed in a frilly shirt and a extremely frilly skirt, usually when she dresses up like this, it means that she is going out with her boyfriend Jasper again.

"You tell Jasper to keep his hands to himself tonight." She looked up at you with a devilish smirk.

"Maybe I will and maybe I won't." She says to you as she blows you a kiss goodbye before walking out the door.

You rolled your eyes and began to walk towards the black door that leads to a dark and creepy hallway. You open the door only to have your aunt's cat, Midnight, jump at you, causing you to shriek in surprise.

"Dammit Midnight, you nearly gave me a heart attack." You said in a huff as the black kitten starred up at you with those glowing green eyes of his.

You set him back down on the ground and watch him as he runs towards the front of the store. You rolled your eyes as you made your way down the dark and creepy hallway.

You stopped at the door at the end of the hallway. How do you know that you had found it? Well you kind of ran into it, causing you to mentally curse at yourself.

You reached out towards the door to try to find the door handle. When you had finally four it, you opened the door only to be met with even more darkness. You found the light switch and turned on the now illuminating overhead lights.

You walked over to the big Brown boxes sitting on the table, while along the way, you grabbed the box opener sitting on the nearby desk.

You stood in front of one of the smaller one's and opened it. Inside was something you had never seen before, but you've heard of it. It was a lamp.

The intricate designs showed just how old it was, but it also made you feel stupid because the words swirling around the designs was in a totally different language. It looked like Latin, but then again you could be wrong.

You saw that it had dust on it, so you went over to one of the selves and grabbed a rag. When you had re-approached the table you had set out to clean the lamp, but when you picked it up and began to clean it, it began to glow a bright orange.

The lamp began to float out of your hands as you starred at it in shock and wonder. Then suddenly a blue mist began to pour from the small hole on the lamp's spout, your eyes grew wide as the mist slowly manifested itself into a girl.

She smiled at you with inviting blue eyes and very white teeth. Her skin was a weird shade of blue, but she didn't act like she was sick.

She wore a small corset that barely covered her breasts and stopped just above her rib cage, thus showing her abdomen. Her pants were blue with red trim and bunched up at her ankles to reveal her black flats that she was wearing. Her black hair was held up by what looked to be a piece of copper. But what had made you uneasy was the fact that it looked like she had shackles on her wrists.

"Hello finder I am Genie." Her voice calm yet beautiful brought you back to earth from your train of thought.

"No way this can't be real." You said doubtfully.

She looked at you with a frown and a furrowed brow. She crossed her arms over her chest, making you think that something you said had offended her.

"Why wouldn't I be real?" She asked you with a sneer.

You held your hands out in surrender.

"I just ment that this situation can't possible be real." Her eyes softened as she took a step towards you.

She looks deep into your (e/c) eyes and begins to look into your very mind and soul.

She saw the harsh life that you were living and saw how people treated you when you were younger, and with every memory she saw, her facial features began to plummet until you could see nothing more than remorse.

She grabbed you by your shoulders and pulled you clos to her so that she could hug you. Instinct took over as you slid her arms around her waist, because she was after all three inches taller than you.

She then let go of you with tears in her eyes. Something about your past must've really upset her. She wiped away the tears that threatened to fall.

She looked up and smiled at you.

"Master/Mistress, there are certain rules that you must abide by. 1.) You only have 3 wishes. 2.) I cannot make anyone fall in love with you. 3.) I cannot kill anyone. And 4.) I do not and will not bring anyone back form the dead." She said all in a huff.

"O-okay." You stuttered because you were still a little shocked from when she hugged you earlier.

"Call my name whenever you need me." She seemed to leave a second meaning to what she said.

With one finale bow, she began to turn back into the blue mist she found earlier and disappeared back into the lamp.

The whole entire time you couldn't help but wonder why she looked so guarded. . .
