I covered her body with a blanket and softly kissed her cheek.

Why would she drink?I hope everything is okay at home.

I caressed her cheek and placed a cup of water and asprin next to her.

"Y-you'll b-be f-fine."I whispered.

She shuffled in her sleep.

I moved away quickly.

I didn't want her knowing I liked her.

Especially when I just went out with her friend.

Bianca is super sweet but she's... I can't explain it.

She's not Joel.

Joel is different.Good different.

Deep down in the back of my mind I want her to be mine.

I heard the door of my house open.

Who the hell-

"Colin honey!"My mom called.

She's home?

Fuck.

Joel needs to leave now!

I shook her awake.She grumbled.

"J-j-joel.P-p-please."

She groaned,moving around.

I don't have time for this.

I quickly lifted her up,blanket and all,and put her in the hallway closet.

"Shhhh"I whispered as my mom came in the living room.

"Hey honey.How was school?"Mom asked,putting her bags down.

"G-g-g-great."

She nodded,smiling."Amazing.I talked to your Dad today,he's coming home tomorrow."

I grinned.Finally.Both my parents are home.

"H-how l-l-long?"I asked.

Her forehead crinkled."Umm that's the problem.He's only staying for a day or two.However, on the bright side,I have a week off."

I forced a smile.

This always happens.My dad...he's an architect which.means they always need him planning and building.My mom is an accountant so she gets breaks here and there.

I wish it wasn't that way though.I miss them.Especially my dad.He never really accepted the fact that his son was a freak.He pretended he did.I knew the truth.My Dad was disappointed in how I turned out.Stutter Boy.

"T-that's okay."I replied,helping my mom file her things on the shelf.

"Thank God.I thought you were upset.I know you hate it that he's constantly working.I miss him too.But we have to be patient."

I nodded.I really wanted to get Joel home.

"M-m-mom y-you s-should t-take a-a sh-shower.I-Ill f-finish u-up"I suggested.

"Awww thanks honey. "She kissed my cheek and headed upstairs.

Phew.

I walked to the closet and opened it.

She wasn't inside!

What the hell?

I grabbed my phone and called her contact.

"Hiiiiiiii Colin!"Joel screamed.I jumped turning around.

"Shhhhh!"I whispered,taking her hand.

"MAKE ME!"She yelled louder.

"S-s-stop p-p-please."I begged,bringing her towards the door leading outside.

"NO NO NO!"Joel screamed,dancing like a maniac while running away.

What do I do?

I chased after her.

Oh no.She went upstairs.

I picked her up from behind and placed her in my room.

"Shhhhh.Q-q-quiet.Y-you h-have to g-"She wrapped her arms around my neck and smiled.

"To g-g-go h-home."I said,removing her hands.

"No.Not happening."She grinned as she played on my bed.

Ugh.That's it.No more Nice Guy.

I pulled her up and dragged her downstairs.

"LET ME GO YOU BITCH!!!I HATE YOU!!!"Joel screamed.

Woah.That was harsh.

She fell to the ground with a thud.

Ooops.

"Colin?What's all that noise?"My mom called from upstairs.

Oh crap.

Joel started heading back up the steps.

No wtf!?!

Uh uh.Not again.

I grabbed her wrists and pushed her tot he nearest wall.

"L-l-listen to m-m-me,n-n-no n-nonsense.G-go h-home."I warned.

"I mean I could but why would I want to?"

I rolled my eyes.

I heard footsteps.

My mom.
