"You need to tell Daryl that you like him , Immie . You might be surprised ." My best
friend , Maggie , said with a smile . I shook my head &' frowned at her , "I'm too scared to , plus , I may not be surprised ." I looked down at my feet . Maggie just looked at me &' shook her head in disapproval . "Immie ." Daryl said ."Rick needs you on Judith duty." He said . "Okay , thanks Daryl ." I said with a smile &' walked down the hall to Judith &' Rick's cell . As I walked away , I heard them whispering something , but i couldn't quite make it out . I walked into Judith's cell &' took her out of Rick's arms. "Thanks Immie." Rick said with a smile before walking out . Eventually Judith fell asleep &' Carl took over . I went back to my cell &' got dressed in a pair of sweats &' a t-shirt . I lied down on my cell , reading a book , since there was nothing else to do for the today . it was already dark outside , so that meant Daryl would be walking past at any time to go to his cell down the hall from mine . He said good night to me every night . As I was lost in thought , I looked up to see Daryl standing in my frame , smiling . I jumped because I didn't know he was there until I had looked up . "Hey." He said , arms crossed smirking at me . "Hey." I said , with a smile . "Maggie told me." He said , still smiling . My face grew completely red , "Maggie told you what ?" I asked . "That you like me." He replied . Instantly , I got super embarrassed &' hit my face under my blanket . I heard him chuckle &' felt my bed shift as he sat down on my bed . "I like ya too , Immie . Actually , if ya want me to be completely honest , I think I love ya . I'm not good with feelings , but I needed to hear it from ya , too ." I heard him say . I rose up to look at him ,&' I couldn't contain the smile upon my face . "I love you too , Daryl ." I said . We both leaned in for a kiss &' made it officially that we were together . I looked over to see Maggie &' Glenn standing at my cell , smiling . "It's about time ." Glenn said , laughing. All Daryl &' I could do was smile . That night , Daryl crawled in the bed with me , and we slept all night , without any interruptions . He kissed my forehead &' with that , we were asleep . ❤️
