Faster, you thought. I'm almost there. You don't understand what's going on, but someone's chasing you. You dont know who or why, or what's going on. You're only instinct is to just run. You see your best friend, Carl. You try screaming for him, but he doesn't hear you. It's like you're invisible. "Carl." You stop and scream. You stop for one second, and they get you. The walkers get you. 

"Y/n, wake up." Carl says, shaking you. You wake up in the middle of a panic attack, breathing hard, your body shaking. Carl's used to this kind of thing, he's used to you, and he's used to the nightmares. "Shh." He said, holding you. "It was just another nightmare, I'm here."

"They got me, you didn't hear me, you couldn't save me." You said, crying. He held you tight, rubbing your forehead and rocking you back and forth. "I'll always save you." He said. "Always, Y/n."

You nodded. "I know you will, I just, I get so scared."

"Y/n, I have a confession. I need to tell you, its killing me inside." He said. You nod, "Okay." Waiting for him to tell you. "I love you, Y/n, not the friendship love, the more than a friend kind of love. I've felt this way for so long, but I've never brought myself to tell you. I love you so much." He said, looking down. Your first thought throughout your mind is, I'm dreaming, pinch me, but this is real, good dreams never happen for you. You grab his chin and make him look at you, "I love you too, Carl Grimes." You say and you kiss him passionately. "I love you forever." You said smiling. For once, you were actually happy. Your dream had came true. That night, you fell asleep with your head on carl's chest and every night since then, you haven't had another nightmare. <3
