Moriah's POV
I finally figured out why we'd had no electricity. The switch was outside. I flicked it on as we pulled the guy in, and shut the door. We shoved him into a corner, and he looked up at us. I caught my breath, slapping him into the face.

"You! What are you doing here?!" He grinned up at me, a smug look on his face.
"Visiting an old friend. Or should I say, girlfriend?" I slapped him again.
"That was your own fault, Jonathan." I spat out, and he grinned again.
"Yeah, well things didn't work out with us, apparently." I scoffed.
"Apparently. And it's not going to happen. I moved on, and I have a daughter." He chuckled, shaking his head.
"A daughter. Yeah. You got married, and now he's dead. He died. He was stupid, and he got himself killed." I clenched my fist, trying not to hit him again.
"No. He died because he was trying to protect me. He actually loved me. He didn't try to push me too far, and he was willing to wait three years just to kiss me." He snorted.
"Yeah. Loved. And look where that got him. He. Is. Dead! And I'm actually proud to say that's my fault. He was weak and stupid." (A/N-And I can't tell you how hard it was to write that. I do not believe any of what I wrote right there, other than that he loves Moriah.) That was it. I couldn't do it. I walked back over to him, and punched him in the nose.

"That's for what you did to my husband." Luke came over, a fire in his eyes, and punched him in the temple.
"That's for what you did to my brother." And then Rachel came up, and did the same thing.
"And that's for what you did to my dad." He stood, his voice slurred and steps unsteady.
"Ooh...Pretty Unicorns...With rainb...." Then, he slumped to the floor, unconscious. We looked at each other, and all cracked up. Then, Libby looked at her phone.

"Drat....One minute." Lucy and Leah looked at her, worried.
"We're not going to make it. We don't have enough time. He's gonna come." I looked at her.
"Who's gonna come?" She winced.
"Not-too-great backup. Namely, Joel." I flipped.
"Libby, are you serious?! What kind of prank are you pulling?! He died!! It's not funny!" She threw her hands in the air, spinning around in a circle. Then she stopped, rubbing her forehead, and she laughed.

"That's the beauty of it! Everyone fell for it! Look, I found a nurse we could trust, she helped up get him out after he woke up! The doctor was also willing! They knew the one place to put the.....whatever they're called that measure heart rate, they knew the one place to put them, so that it looked like they were in the right place, but it registered that he was dead! The kidnappers believe he's dead. He recovers. He helps us find you! It was simple, until we figured out they were going for Courtney. So, we planted the tracking device in the necklace! If they believed that he was dead since he saw their faces, they'd think they were clean! They'd go on a spree! And they started to! It was supposed to be simple, and then we messed up! You guys weren't even supposed to hear that he was 'dead'! It was supposed to be he pretends to be dead. We find you guys, AND we prevent them from coming to finish him off, cuz that's what would've happened! He saw their faces, so they would come to finish him off, if they knew that he was still awake and alive. Oh, see what I did....Oh, never mind! We would explain what we did! It was never going to get this messy, but we messed it up. Big time. Not even mum and dad know!" She flipped open her phone, and face palmed herself.
"Shoot. Time's up. Let's go, now! Move, move, move!!" She swung the door open, hitting the other guy in the back of the head, and he dropped, also unconscious.

"Well," A familiar voice commented.
"That was a little bit easier than I expected it to be. I thought I was going to have to get that bloke with this cast in my arm. Rock solid, it is. Feels like my arm's in cement." And when I saw who spoke, that's when I knew everything was going to be okay.
