Anyways, On w the story (that has so many plot holes sorry)

"Ugh, mama. Adam is so cute mashallah!" Jamila says, my mom raises an eyebrow at her, not very pleased to say the least.
"He's years younger than you, hebla!" I smack her jokingly.
She rolls her eyes, "Age is just a number! Mama can I marry him?"
"He's interested in Sara. Not you." Mom simply says.
"Sara always gets the cute boys !"
"What boy did I get at all?!" I exclaim, now a little mad.
"Adam, Chase, a couple of our cousins-"
"Jamila, thats enough. You better start behaving before you get no grape leaves!" Mom says, we both laugh but jamila sighs dramatically
Always such a drama queen.
The sound of my phone ringing chimes in my pocket, silencing whatever words were about to come out of her mouth.
"Hello?"
"Hey girl!!" It was Mary
"Hey."
"Dude, finals are in 20 days!"
"Yeap, and then we graduate." I didn't know if I was excited or sad about that.
Heck, I was really excited. It's just that Mary is going off somewhere in New York and Chase.. God, I don't even know what he's going to do.
The time went by fast, until I decided to put some space between me and Chase. He, at first kept asking me what was wrong and what happened. But slowly, I guess he got the hint.
That I wanted whatever was between us, to be over
Simply because I feel like me being that close to him was acting on my feelings for him. I was spacing myself from his for the sake of Allah.
I wish he could understand.
"Hello? Sara?" Mary said on the other line.
"Oh, yeah. What?' I snap out of my thoughts.
"Ugh, nothing. I have to go. Talk to you later."
After hanging up the phone, I went upstairs. I needed a shower.
Truth is, I missed chase. I still see him and talk to him. But its just not the same.
I sigh heavily, Allah help me.
Just as I turned the water on, my phone buzzed with a text.
Sara, I have something to tell you!
