The Big Struggle

"Where would we find these guys first off?" Ross asked. He has that darned mask on. Why does he put it on when we are leaving the house?
"We could ask someone we know. Okward." Adam suggested.
"But he is crazy. He probe my won't know who we are talking about, which will than make US look crazy!" Max rolled his era as he said this.
"We an give it a try..." I said looking at Max hopefully. I have never met Okward but Adam speaks quite highly of him.
"Let's go! I'm going to listen to music on the way ok?" I say putting my earphones in my ears and played my faveourite song 'treble heart'

"Are you sure he didn't abandon the house after the bombing? The house was already run down!" Max said.
I looked at the house and shrugged.
I opened the gate that lead to the garden.
"You aren't going in... Are you?" Kayla stuttered.
"It's either we go in, or we get fired and hunted down by The Boss himself." I said walking up to the door. I knock.
No answer.
"Hm. That's strange. Okward is always home and answers the door within five seconds." Adam said.
"He's not home. Let's go!" Scarlet said walking towards. I reached for the doorknob and twisted it. The door swung open to reveal the inside of the house looking not much better than the outside.
"Mia..." Max said grabbing my hand. I turned bright red.
"W-what?" I asked. I turned around. Luckily my face wasn't as red as before.
"Don't go in. I don't want you to get hurt." Max said letting go of me and looking at the ground.
"You know you can come with me. I just don't want you to be in danger either." I say looking at the ground also.
"O-ok. Why not!" Max said.
"Are you guys coming or not?" I say as Max and I walk inside.
"Wait! I will go with you. You guys stay out here!" Ross said walking inside with us.
