"Hi! I'm-
"Don't interrupt us! We're having a Pokemon battle!"
"..."
Things were hazy. Ash shook his head and it felt like his brain rattled around inside it. There were blanks in his memory that he couldn't seem to fill no matter how hard he thought. How did he get to wherever he was? He decided to try and open his eyes and came to the realization that they were already open and the reason he couldn't see was because of a thick black strap held tightly across them.
"Hmph-?!" he tried to speak and found a similar strap was pressed so tightly against his mouth and secured around his head that he couldn't utter a word.
He panicked slightly and in that moment of sudden movement realized that he was being tightly held against the floor with his arms and legs spread out in an 'x' shape. It felt like black straps were holding his upper arms and wrists, his stomach, and then his thighs and ankles too. He gulped loudly and shivered.
Resisting the urge to panic only worked for so long. Eventually he was struggling furiously against the sturdy bindings holding him and trying to call out. It didn't feel like rope it felt soft yet firm and had to be thick since his vision was totally blocked out. He muffled things into the strap gagging him but couldn't hear any response around him.
Escape didn't seem possible and focusing on the embarrassment of the situation wouldn't help either. Instead, he tried to focus on how he got there. There was a Pokemon battle - Ash remembered that much. It had been against Trip! Not only that but he had been winning. They had been interrupted part way through the battle by a boy who had been watching for a few minutes. The boy had tried to introduce himself and then - nothing. Ash thought hard but there was just nothing after that moment prior to waking up bound. Had he won the battle against Trip? Who was that boy in the red and black shirt?
"Urhmmph...?!"
Ash's heart skipped a beat. That noise hadn't been him! He turned his head - someone was nearby. There were more muffled cries and the sound of struggling. It was only a guess but it sounded like someone else in the same situation as him. Was it Trip or the mysterious boy?
"Occupant status confirmed as conscious. Greetings, future companions," an electronic voice chimed suddenly. "Processing will begin momentarily."
The voice sounded like a machine, but Ash had little time to ponder on it as he felt the strap over his eyes suddenly ease off and then slide off his face. There was a mechanical sound like it had been drawn into some compartment on the floor he was held against. Whatever room he was in was lit be unnatural blue light but he had to scrunch his eyes closed for a while until they got used to it.
The room was a shiny looking silver metal walled box shape and every thick panel or so on the wall was split by the neon blue glow acting as the only light source. Wherever he was it looked to Ash like it was highly technical.
Another muffled sound reminded him that he was next to someone. Looking over, he saw Trip strapped to the floor in the similar fashion he was. Ash tried to muffle a question, any question, but any attempt at communication between them while so tightly gagged could never get beyond shaking or nodding their heads.
"Future companions, we will now begin processing. Please stand by to receive a control collar fitting to allow ease of transport within the facility."
