Chapter-22

Priya's Pov

"Come out!"I mouthed at Arjun.

He walked beside me and we reached the corridor.

"What is all this?"Arjun spoke harshly for the very first time.

"So, Neeraja aunty is your Mom?"I asked him curiously.

"Yes!"He nodded slightly throwing a killer glance.

"So I came to your house that day"I stood there thinking.

"Which day?"He asked me eagerly.

"On the day we met, We me after two years, in the bus!"I said stammering.

"I was busy then, I have to finalize the deal, So I was on my way to Visakha from Hyderabad. I didn't find any flight due to bad weather so I opted for the bus."He said reminding me the instance.

"I went to your house in Mumbai and came back to Hyderabad on some work and returned to Vizag next day, Where I found you in the same bus"I explained.

"I got it now!"He said, trying to analyse the situation.

"Do you know what exactly had happened between these two?"He asked me where I am tangled in my own thoughts.

"No, But Mom always wanted to meet her friend, but her ego was so hurt that she reconsidered her decision every time."I said.

"But why did you come to my home?"He asked me seriously.

"Means?"I got confused with his questions.

"Nothing, I am asking you why did you meet mom so sudden, why, That too after two years?"He questioned me.

"Mom on one fine day told me that I need to go to Mumbai as her friends is not well, I did so. She didn't say anything except they both are not in good terms"I looked at him asking me to believe what I am saying.

"It's okay!"He nodded.

"I am happy for them"I smiled.

"So you really don't know that I am her son?"He asked me suddenly.

"Really! I swear"I said seriously.

"Hu!"He sighed.

"I met your mum that day and she told me that she wants to convey a message to Mom and I did it"I explained.

"No need of any explanation"He said in a low tone.

I don't know why I am feeling tensed. I felt bad for Arjun for a second. Suddenly I am bothered about his opinion. I started to think why do I feel much concerned about Arjun? Why do his opinion matters to me? What is the problem if he thinks I deceived him? I shook my head in disgust.

"Let us go inside"Arjun asked me, dragging me out of my thoughts.

"I need to talk for a second."I looked at him hesitant.

"Don't worry! I won't talk anything about us with Mom, and I promise it wouldn't affect their relation"He said suddenly.

"I...I didn't mean...."I stopped abruptly as I don't know what to say.

"I can understand"He smiled a bit.

Arjun's Pov.

We moved in and looked at two.

"Priya is your classmate!"Mom asked me soon I stepped in.

"Yes! I too came to know about the things now, "I said sitting beside mom.

"That's really a good thing to know"Mom smiled.

"Arjun is a nice guy!"Sujatha Aunty looked at Mom.

"Not that much!"Mom smiled at me.

I am happy to see her smiling after a long time.

"Okay! I h! ve to leave"Mom stood up with some difficulty, but made it at last.

"Why can't you stay with me tonight?"Sujatha aunty asked Mom holding mom's hand.

"I have to go Sujatha, Please"Mom said hesitantly.

"Please, for my sake"Sujatha aunty almost begged mom.

"Okay!"Mom glanced at me asking my permission and I simply nodded. I have to inform this to Dad.

"Thank you!"Sujatha aunty smiled at me.

"I will leave them!"I looked everyone.

"Take care"Mom barely said.

"I will, You stay calm. I will send you the necessary things dresses and all with the maid for tonight. I will pick you early in the morning tomorrow, Probably after Breakfast. I will inform Dad. Don't worry"I informed the man.

"I love you"She smiled.

"Me too, "I smiled back and walked away from there.

I reached the corridor and saw Priya coming after me.

"Thanks!"She said with a small grin.

"For what?"I asked her, though I know the reason.

"For Everything, For keeping things secret and allowing aunty to stay tonight"She said.

"I am also a human Priya, I too have some feelings,I too posess emotions"Suddenly I spat her with hard words.

"Bye,"She said.

"See you"I didn't bother to say a sorry to her.

But I am unaware about one thing why I am angry? And with whom I am angry? I felt weird and simply ran away.

Priya's Pov.

"Arjun was never this much angry"My consciousness warned me.

"Why should I bother, I didn't do anything"I am trying to convince myself hard.

"May be he thinks that I purposefully hide the visit from him and I am well aware that he is Neeraja Auty's son"I am retrospecting.

"But If I knew it earlier, I would have convinced Mom much earlier"I sat there in the lawn tangled in thoughts.

"But why does Arjun's silence and anger effect you?"I felt weird all of a sudden.

"Do you still have feelings for him?"A question to myself.

"Do I?"I lifted my head and saw Arjun occupying the Driver's seat in the car.

"Should I give him a chance?"I thought about it for the first time after two long years.

I sat there alone thinking .........

Arjun's Pov.

I called Sowmya on my way to home.

"What?"She freaked at the news.

"Yes!What you heard is absolute truth"I ressured her.

"What do you think Priya purposefully did it?"She asked me suddenly.

"She would never do that!"I said confidently.

"Then why are you soo upset?"Sowmya asked me qucikly.

"I am worried about Mom.What if our issues create some problems between these two friends again.Mom is just recovering and Sujatha aunty ...."I stopped as I don't know what to say.

"Just leave the things as such,All will be fine soon"She answered me assuringly.

"Thanks"I said barely.

"Thanks,Huh!"She said threateningly.

"Sorry!"I sais quickly.

"Shut up!"She shouted this time.

"Oops"I realised my mistake.

"Thanks and sorry!"She cut the phone abruptly.

I felt really bad for my behaviour.I was soo rude with Priya and almost demanded an explanation for everything and With sowmya I told her two words which she never wants to listen from me,Her best friend.
