Chapter-54

Arjun's Pov

I am waiting for him at home.Mom and Dad are out for shopping. I want to talk to him for once alone.How can he do as such?Why?!

I lifted my head up and saw my brother entering the hall.I smiled at him a bit,he gave a wan smile.

"How was your day?"I asked him very casually as I don't know anything.

"Some what hectic"He mumbled sitting beside me on couch,loosening his tie.

"Oh!Would you like to have some coffee?"I asked him passing him tv remote.

He didn't say anything but sat there gently pressing his forehead.

"Are you okay?"I asked him as I know the reason behind his sadness.

"Yeah,My head is aching"His eyes are a bit read and tears almost brimmed in them.

"Let me bring you some coffee"I felt really sad to see him like that.He is so gloomy.

"Have it"I gave him coffee and sat there calmly.

"Thank you"He mouthed and drank it slowly.

I didn't budge him into a conversation.I know what he is going through.He is in so much pain.

Meanwhile mom called and told me that they are going for a movie and its take time for them to come home.

I felt this is the time to talk to my brother.I took a deep breath and went to hall.I didn't find him anywhere.I walked towards the corridor and saw him talking to somone on Phone.

I walked towards him to lawn and stood facing his back.I felt weird to hear his conversation secretly.

"I am ready to do what ever you say and please don't post them on social media"He is begging the other person on phone.I know with whom he is talking on phone.I clenched my fist and stood there gritting my teeth.

"Hey!?"I greeted him with a pale smile.He fumbled for a second and didn't spoke anything.

"I am hungry,let's have dinner together.It takes some time for Mom and Dad to come home.They went to a movie"I smiled.

"Okay"He gasped some air and walked behind me.

"Who was that?"I asked him suddenly while occupying my chair at the dinning table.

"What?!"He lifted his face and looked at me with a baffled face.

"Who was the person you were talking on phone?"I asked serving the food in our plates

He dragged his chair and sat there clasping his hands.His face is so gloomy and pale.

"Ahh...Brinda"He said after a second.

"Oh,"I nodded and started eating food.

I observed him for few minutes he barely kept some food into his mouth.

"What?"He looked at me who is staring at him with a pair of sharp eyes.

"You haven't eaten anything"I said tapping the spoon to the rim of the plate.

"I am not hungry and I just wanted to accompany you"He lied and can sense the tension in his voice.

"Oh really?Why so?Are you okay?Means your health?"I spoke without averting my intense gaze.He is looking here and there.

"I am fine"He sprung up from chair and looked at me sighing.

"I am feeling sleepy"He mumbled.

"Okay,Good night"I smiled.

"Good night"He nodded and walked away hastily grabbing his cell phone.

Another half an hour passed.Pradeep appeared as we planned.

"Hai"He hugged me.

"Hey"I smiled.

"Where is he?"He looked all around.

"In his room"I looked up and glanced at the door

"Okay"He mumbled and Started speaking loudly.

I closed my eyes for a second and blinked at Pradeep.

"Arjun"

"Arjun"Pradeep started shouting my name suddenly on the top my lungs.

"What?"

I too shouted at him.

"What happened Pradeep?You look so tensed"

"Police found who kidnapped and harassed Priya"He stated loudly.

"What?"I looked at him and I noticed my brother Prajwal coming out of his room.He came down and stood in front of us.

"What were you saying?"I asked Pradeep after glancing at Prajwal for a second.

"It's Nikethan,You altime rival Mr.Raj's Son"He said smiling and showing the photographs.

"He took very lame photographs of Priya the time he kidnapped her."He said gritting his teeth.

"What's you are talking?"We saw Prajwal looking at us with a baffled face.

"I won't leave that B*st@rd"I said clenching my jaw.

"I know he is after you Arjun but never thought he would kidnap and harass Priya"Pradeep said controlling his anger.

"I will kill that B*s* t*rd"Prajwal shouted and a lone tear escaped from his eyes.

"And you what were you doing?Why did you hidr things from me?I know he blackmailed you"I walked to Prajwal caught his collar.

"You were ready to leave us.You even made your mind and did all the preparations"I looked into his eyes.He looked away.

"What's this.I need answer.Ticket to Malaysia"I threw his passport and ticket on floor.

"What is all this Prajwal?Haven't you thought about mom and dad once?Haven't you thought about Brinda?Haven't you thought about me?"I banged the wall and I can see tears in his eyes.

"I don't know what to do?He has those pics with him and he was blackmailing me all time.If it was old Prajwal he would have dealt the issue very differently but now I have changed.It's about Priya her respect.I don't know what to do."He fell on his knees and looked so vulnerable.

I made him stood up and hugged him.

"I don't want to loose you all again.It hurts."His words brought tears in my eyes.

"Don't worry I deleted all those pics and stole all the data in his laptop.I have all the evidences about his fake businesses."I smiled and Pradeep nodded at us waving a pen drive in air.

"When did you do that?"He smiled and wiped a tear at the corner of his eye.

"Secret"I whispered and he smiled.

"I will show him what hell is?".....I muttered.
