Chapter-52

Arjun's Pov

I am waiting for Priya outside of her room trying to sit comfortably in a cozy couch.Priya's mom,Aunty is treating me like a prince.I am not accustomed to such treatment.I want to be like same old Arjun who can walk into her house without any prior intimation.

"Hu hu"I heard someone coughing and turned around to see Sowmya standing infront of me with a sulky face.I felt truly nervous as I don't know the answers for her questions.

"Hai"I smiled nervously.I hide our patch up with my friends and now everyone knows about us.So it's payback time for me.

"Hai"She grinned back fakely.

"Hey sis!What's that?"I tapped my knee smiling impatiently.

"Don't you know what just happened?"She looked at me seriously.

"What?"I looked at her with a pale face.

"Why did you hide this from us?"She whispered in my ear.

"What did I hide?"I looked at her as I hate this interrogation.

"You both sorted out everything and pretended that you both moved on and truly made us fools,Such a deceiver"She muttered under her breath with fuming eyes.

"What?"Priya came out of her room with a wan smile still struggling a bit to walk.She was faltering all the time.I felt sad to see her like that.I am here to take her to doctor but Sowmya looks so hurt by our actions.

"You too Dear"Sowmya looked at Priya with a sad pout.

"What did I do?"Priya took two steps and sat beside sowmya.

"Why did you both hide this?"She is still keeping a sulky news.

"Its not like this"Priya caught her hands and smiled sweetly.

"Really?"Sowmya lowered head and looked so stringent.

"Sorry dear,We just wanted to give sometime for ourselves.It doesn't mean avoiding you all."Priya said clinging her arms around her shoulders and smiling.

"Oh!"Sowmya heaved a sigh and smiled at Priya fakely.

"I am sorry Sowmya"Priya looked so tensed,I stood up and sat beside Priya.

"Sowmya,She is not well.It's me who asked her to hide everything from all of you.I never did it to avoid you all.I truly felt that We desperately need some time and some space.Please try to understand.I am apologising you for doing as such so blindly.I am really sorry. Please forgive your brother."I said in an apologetic tone frowning and shrugging my shoulders.

"Okay"Sowmya lifted her head up and smiled sadly.

"I am sorry"I said holding my ears suprassing my laugh.

"Its okay bro"Sowmya chuckled and smiled at me enbracing Priya into a big hug from side.I too hugged Priya from other side and saw a smile on Priya's face.

"You are getting late"Sowmya chuckled at us two and faked a cough to broke our eye lock. I then looked around and realised that Sowmya has released Priya a while ago but really doesn't know when we felt like having a such a passionate eyelock.

"Yeah!"I said checking my mobile and looked at Priya.She smiled at Sowmya and nodded at me.

"Careful"I caught Priya's hand and made her stood up.She stood up finally and caught my shoulder. She walked taking my support and was squeezing it all the time in pain.We waved at sowmya and got into my car.

We reached hospital in time and finally in doctors cabin.

Doctor took the x-ray into his hand and looked it thoroughly.

"As I told you earlier that it was a hairline fracture.No need to worry.You need to wear this band and have to take those calcium tablets in time"Doctor smiled at us.

We talked to doctor for a while about diet,rest and few other things.

We came to our car and I smiled at Priya while closing the door.She smiled back but her expressions soon changed into fear,frightened.

I didn't get why but I can sense she is not okay,she is literally trembling.

I occupied the next seat beside her and caught her hand firmly.She turned her head shifting her gaze on me.I guessed she might have seen someone or something from window,she peeped through window and found something very frightening.

"Are you okay?"I placed my hand on her shoulder and pressed it gently.

"Fine"She lowered her head and mumbled in a worried tone.

"Are you sure?Did I do anything wrong?"I took her face into my arms and wiped away her tears.

"He is the one who tried to ra....p.... me"She closed her closely letting her tears flow freely over her cheeks.

My blood started boiling and I quickly turned my head to look at him,his bloody face.Sure I am going to break his bones now.

He is very busy in chewing a bubble gum and tapping his hand,fingers very rhythmically over the steering nodding his head according to the music.I found headphones in his ears.We are about to start and I blindly followed him without a second thought.

Priya warned me initially but I almost shouted at her.She didn't say anything just sat beside me holding her breath.I want to kill that b......... for tonight.I am following him with a hawk eye and finally could reach his place.

He stepped down from his car and moved hastily to a guest house.I shushed at Priya and asked to stay calm there itself in the car for a while.

"Please,I can't leave you as such"Priya mumbled like a child and I kissed her forhead assuringly asking her to stay calm.

I made few strodes towards his guest house and entered its hall finally.I peeped at its surrounding quickly and found the presence of a person in a room.I walked to the room and saw its half opened,ajar.I wonder why can't I find a single person in such a big guesthouse not even a watchman.

I am about to get into the room but I found him talking to someone on phone.I gulped and moved myself a bit closer to the wall.I became so attentive and listening to his conversation.

"Atlast we made him fool.He is totally trapped and ready to give everything to us.What he wants is his family,his family's happiness and his family's safety.Now I think he will do anything for us.We can execute our plan so soon.I want to see him crying and all alone on road."He laughed like a maniac.

I felt like some stabbing my heart badly.I can't believe my ears.I closed my eyes and a lone tear escaped from them.I walked away from there without a word with heavy heart. I went straight to Priya and hugged her very passionately.

"I feel so bad for everything"I whispered in her ear and looked away.
