"Luna, what are you wearing?" I looked up at her
"To where?" She raised her eyebrows at me
"Don't you have a date with Colby tonight?" I sat up and ran a hand through my hair
"I don't think I'm going, Lexi"
"Why?!" I gave her a look and she sighed at me "Luna, as much as it'll hurt you for me to say this I'm still gonna say it. Move on! He already has a girlfriend and they're obviously happy, Luna. Go out with Colby. He likes you, a lot. I'd rather you be with someone that will treat you the way you deserve to be treated" I bit my lip and got to my feet
"Alright. Help me get dressed?" She grinned at me and pulled me into her room

"Is that bad?" I shook my head, I had on dark jean shorts and a teal cropped top. On my feet I had white flats, there was a knock on the door. I grinned and went to open it
"Hey" he grabbed my hand and pulled me into him before wrapping his arms around my shoulders "You look nice"
"You look good too" we exited the hotel together and got in the car
"Where are we going?"
"The authority is having a dinner, you're invited" I smiled but then thought for a moment
"What about Lexi? And Bayley?" He shrugged and started to drive
"Jon said something about wanting to bring Lexi, I don't know about Bayley" he stated simply "Why? Would you be uncomfortable?" I quickly shook my head
"No! Just... Never mind" I looked out the window, I knew I would feel slightly awkward around the authority. I know I had Colby- but it just didn't feel right without my best friend there with me, we pulled into the parking lot of a nice building. Colby took my hand and lead me inside
"Seth!" Stephanie opened her arms and pulled him in briefly "Luna, how are you?" She pulled me in
"I'm good" I smiled at her, she brought us to a circle of couches with a round table in the middle. On the table was a bucket of ice and very expensive looking champagne display
"Luna, tell us about yourself" Hunter requested as we all settled down, all being the four of us as well as Kane and Randy
"Well, I'm from Pensacola. I went to college there as well..um. I have a brother and Lexi and I have been best friends for 23 years" he nodded and poured us drinks
"Lexi, I'm guessing Alexa bliss" it was a statement more than a question "Champagne?" I pushed my glass forward and he poured, looking at me as he did... Okay. The look he gave me was weird but I brushed it off, we were then joined by the rest of the Shield.
"Hey Dean, Roman" Colby bro hugged Jon and gave Joe a nod, they sat opposite us. Joe made eye contact with me, I waved and he just looked away. Ouch. This is gonna be a long night, I downed my glass of champagne rather quickly. Colby looked at me concerned, everyone else was in deep conversation
"What?" I put my glass down and glanced at him
"You okay?" He whispered in my ear
"Yeah" I bit my lips and he just stared down at me
"If you want to leave we can" good. I want to. But I don't want to ruin it for him
"No, I'm fine" he sighed and wrapped and arm around me
"Luna, what are your dreams?" I was caught off guard by Stephanie's questions
"Um.. I guess as a child I wanted to be the women's champion. But that's gone now, I also want to be married. Maybe have kids" she nodded slowly and I glanced at Colby who was smiling down at me
"Joe, what's this I hear about you having history with Luna" I tensed. Jon leaned forward and rested his chin on his hand, I glared at him and he smirked back. Little shit.
"Yeah, I've heard of that too. What's it all about?" Hunter refilled my glass and look between Joe and I
"It's nothing but the past-" Joe cut me off
"We dated in highschool, we were on and off in College." I rolled my eyes at him and once again, quickly downed my Champagne "Just recently-"
"That's enough, Joe" I glared in his direction, what is he playing at? Is he trying to ruin things for the both of us?
"Oh, now you've got me curious. Go on, Roman" Dean glanced at me. Joe was staring at me, I shook my head slowly. Colby spoke up
"Okay, that's enough. Let's go, Luna" He stood up and pulled me with him aggressively, Jon stood in front of Colby stopping him
"Why? Does it push your buttons to know that your brother had her first? That you're just picking up dirty sloppy seconds? " he stared down at me as he said the last part, excuse me!? I could feel my face twisting in anger, I pushed past Colby and approached him. My hand came down on his face so hard that it made my hand sting, he gave me a shocked look
"I don't know what your problem with me is, but you need to get over it. I'm here, I'm not going anywhere. Get used to it asshole" I sneered at him before leaving.
"Luna, slow down" he grabbed my arm and turned me to face him, Joe looked down at me concerned.
"No. Don't touch me" he dropped his hands to his side
"Why are you so mad at me, Luna?" I raised my eyebrows at him
"You're kidding, right?" He just stared at me "Don't play dumb Joe, I know you remember our one night stand"
"Yeah, so.. You said it meant nothing to you"
"Right after I said that, you let out a load a bullshit" he cringed at my language "I actually believed you, then you go and have sex with her. Knowing that I was in the other room" his face changed as I said the last part
"Oh" I crossed my arms over my chest
"Yeah. Speaking of, why isn't she here. She's usually clinging to your side"
"Jealous"
"Nope"
"We broke up" I dropped my arms to my side, he leaned against the wall and crossed his arms. He watched me
"Why?"
"People told her about our heated-"
"And drunken" he smirked at me
"Make out session in the club" I raised my eyebrows, well then. Then I remembered that I left Colby in there by himself, I went to take a step but he put his hand on my shoulder
"Where are you going?" He gently pushed me against the side of the building
"Colby-" he trapped me
"Who cares?" He stared down at me, his lips brushed against mine. This is wrong. So wrong, I came with Colby! Joe wrapped and arm around my waist and pushed his lips on mine, I didn't fight him. I leaned into to him- wait. What am I doing!?
"Stop it" I pushed him back and speed walked past him, when I got back into the building Stephanie and the others were quiet. Jon was stretched out on one of the couches
"You done throwing a tantrum, princess?" He grinned at me. I ignored him, I honestly couldn't deal with him anymore tonight
"Colby, let's go" he was by my side before I could even finish my sentence, he grabbed my hand and pulled me out. Joe was still outside, arms crossed. Colby didn't look at him, but I did. He winked at me and I looked away, why does he insist on making things so complicated for me?
