I woke up the next morning feeling lower than I've ever felt. I slowly sat up and ran my hands through my rats nest, wincing as a knot got caught on my finger. Last nights show was less than terrible, I was in a match with Layla and got blind sided by Aj. She beat me. Could I have fought back? Probably. But my total lack of caring got the best of me, as it has for a week. Joe has ignored me, Jon has put me through hell and I've gotten no word on Lexi's whereabouts. Isn't life just wonderful? I pushed the covers off of me and got out of the bed, not caring if I woke him up.
When I walked into the bathroom I cringed at my appearance, my goodness I look terrible. I did my morning routine then pulled on pink shorts and a grey tank top, I searched around for my slippers and found them under the bed just as Joe woke up.
"Morning" he rasped and swung his legs over the side of the bed
"Hmm" I responded without looking at him. He sat there for a moment just looking at me, I looked up and raised my eyebrows
"You need something?" He leaned back on the bed with his arms behind his head, giving me a full view of his body
"I'm sore" I crossed my arms over my chest
"So?" He lifted his head slightly
"So, can you give me a massage?"
"No" I stood up
"Come on Luna, please?" He propped himself up on his elbows and looked at me
"No, you gave me crap last week and then expect me to be happy and loving to you?" He got to his feet and walked toward me
"Not exactly. But you did kiss my best friend" I rolled my eyes
"It was just a kiss! And he kissed me!"
"But you lied to me and you weren't going to tell me about it" I pinched the bridge of my nose
"You sound like a fucking 5 year old Joseph"
"Really? How would you feel if I kissed Lexi? Huh?"
"Well I already know how it feels seeing as you cheated on me multiple times with the same girl! All I did was kiss him once, you had sex with her 3 times! Huge fucking difference, stop overreacting" he gripped my upper arm to stop me from walking away
"Will you stop just walking away from me!" I snatched my arm from his grip
"Let go" I tried to pull away after he grabbed me again
"I'm getting sick and tired of you acting like this!"
"And I'm getting tired of you whining like a bitch!" Silence fell over us, he just stared at me with a clenched jaw. He tightened his grip on my arm as I fought against him
"Listen to me Luna, I'm tired of arguing over stupid things."
"As am I"
"I'll admit, I've been overreacting. But you've been a bitch to me ever since Lexi went missing" I raised my eyebrows at him, by now I'd stopped fighting him and just glared
"And quite frankly, I don't appreciate it. So cut the bull shit, okay?"
He stared at me intensely, I kept my mouth shut as he dropped my arm
"Don't leave" I let out a frustrated sighed and looked up at him
"What now?" He smirked at me
"Well for starters you're going to get on this bed and massage me" he walked back and got on the bed
"Are you coming or do I have to make you?"
I dropped my arms to my sides
"You're an asshole, Joe"
"Do you love me any less?" I rolled my eyes as I sat on his butt
"Good girl" I lifted myself slightly so I could pinch his butt
