Negative (Matt X Reader) ~SHORT~

You were a very negative person, aggressive even, you had no excuse nor reason, just that you hated the world.

Rubbing your eyes, letting out a uncomfortable hiss, Matt, your-not-very-friend-friend, had opened the blinds after your two day laptop obsession, you'd be on tumblr, YouTube, reading fanfictions and so on.

"(Name)! For god's sake!"
"Shush.." You mumbled, staring blankly at your now closed laptop.

He sighed, poking your cheek, making you tense up. "Awe, come on? Human interaction?" "No."

"Ple--"
"No."

You got up, only to stumble because of pins and needles, you yelped before catching yourself and regaining your non-existent posture.

He sighed, "see? You gotta get out more. Come on, let's go out and get ice cream, that'll cheer you up..!"

You were about to object before he grabbed your arm, being glad you were wearing proper clothes is the only thing you could be happy for. He raced towards a small ice cream truck with a seating area beside it.

"Flavour?" "(Favourite flavour).." You mumbled. The ice cream was whipped up sooner than expected, "you and your fiancé have fun!" Your face flushed, "not engaged.." You snapped, sitting down rather aggressively (if that's even possible).

Stupidly, you bit into the soft-serve ice cream, everything on your face described 'I am eternally screaming and in pain'.

Matt chuckled, "brain freeze?" You shook your head in answer, "n-no.."

Awkwardly and rather cliche, a rapid breeze flew by, you (being in a tank-top) shivered.

Matt immediately soothed the cold by wrapping his overcoat around you. Your face was bright red, his was too.

"Thanks.." You mumbled.
"You know, (name), I-I've always had a slight.. Crush.. On.. You..?"

You chuckled rather loudly, "I-I guess I do too now" kissing his cheek, leaving him dumbfounded.

"Maybe I won't be that negative around you anymore~"
