Midnight

It was a spring midnight and two
girls,Vio and Mary is hiding on a
bush crouching for a long time.Their
legs seem to give up as they drop down to their knees,good thing that
Vio wore jeans but it seems Mary's
bad day as she scraped her knees,her
skirt didn't protect it and she
muffled a scream.

"C'mon Mary!We have to find Kin!"

Vio covered the scrape with Mary's skirt and covered her mouth with her
hand motioning for her to be quiet.
"Midnight!"Someone screamed,it was
Kin.They ran but Mary fell down.

Vio helped her up and Mary ran
towards the base.Vio was so close towards the base which was a white car on her garage when she felt someone toch her back.

She turned around to see Kin.
She ran on the base and panted.

"Aw man!I'm it!"Vio said in dissapointment.

"It's okay Vio,we'll shout your name
if we don't find you."Jen said patting
Vio's back smiling at her.

"Seven,Eight,Nine,Midnight!"Vio,Jen
and Kin counted and after that,Vio
went on to find a place to hide.She ran and ran.

After a few minutes,they gave up upon finding Vio so they shouted her name many times until they came upon something.It was Vio's favorite
ballerina flats.

"Oh!That's Vio's flat!Maybe because
she ran too fast,she left her shoe and
didn't have time to pick it up."Kin said

"Vio!!We give up!!"Jen and Mary shouted while Kin searched on the
front yard.

Kin screamed and warm tears fell on
his face.Jen and Mary noticed this and
headed to Kin.There he was,kneeling
infront of Vio's body.Vio's face was face-planted on the floor and it seems that a rusty steel was plunged in her forehead.

They called an ambulance,the paramedics said Vio has a little chance of survival.

That night,Mary couldn't sleep.She keeps thinking of poor Vio.She keeped
tossing and turning because Vio's
face keep haunting her.She turned of
her lamp and her eyes adjusted to the
darkness.She saw a black haired girl
walking towards her with a rusty nail
evident on her stomach.

Oh no,it couldn't be.Mary thought.
"It should've been you who died."
Vio's evil voice boomed throughout
the room."Now I'm gonna make you
feel the pain."Then,Vio's hand reached itself towards her.

It was sad the next morning,Mary was
absent and they lost Vio.Kin and Jen
were on the bus chit chatting sadly
about Vio's death and Mary's absence.

"What did Vio done wrong?"Kin said
while staring ag the ceiling.

"She was our friend."Jen said.

As they were talking,the bus hitted a
10-Wheeler truck which caused the
bus to turn upside down.Kin couldn't
feel his right leg and Jen couldn't
walk.On the other side of the road,
they saw a black haired girl with a missing shoe,walking towards them,
smiling.
