Diamond In The Rough [ Completed ]

"It is not your fault babe" Diamond said.

"Yes it is look at your wrist and who was driving? Me right!" I shook my head then walked away from her. Leaving her by herself on the couch.

I just feel like shit. For getting in that car accident even though it wasn't our fault. The insurance and all that shit is worked out. I walked by over to where Diamond was at.

"How is your wrist" I asked while she closed her phone.

She looked at me "Okay I guess"

I sighed "Baby I am sorry"

"It is fine, but the accident wasn't your fault and it was yesterday" She said and snuggled closer to me. I rested my arm around her.

"You know Leah and I got that college tour thing right?" She said looking up at me.

"Yeah UVA right?" I replied. University of Virginia is one of the colleges she applied too. Now me, I applied to Ohio state, Alabama and Carolina. I think she applied to Carolina also.

"Yeah Leah and I are going to drive up there by ourselves" She said sounding pretty excited.

"Well that means Langston and I are going to be here alone, great" I said with full sarcasm.

She playing punched me "Stop acting like a baby were going for just a day!"

I laughed and kisses her cheek "Yeah but it is going to seem like forever"

"You'll be fine now I have to go it is almost ten and I have to wake up at eight" She said as she got up.

"Guess ill walk you to the door" I said following her.

When we reached my porch. I turned towards her and kissed her. "Text me when you get home, I love you"

"I love you too" She said and I watched her get in her car and leave.

Next Day

Diamond ,



"Leah you just want all these damn souveniers" I asked looking at the bag full of UVA things.

"I really like this college" She said as she shut the passenger door. We were about to walk in Waffle house.

"Me too" I replied as we were seated. I looked through the menu. Steak and cheese melt? Sound good as hell right about now.

After ordering Leah and I just began to talk about the years to come. "I want a family" She said.

I awhed "Me too girl.. but that can wait" I said then answered my ringing phone.

"Hey baby" Tyler's voice came through the speaker and I was all the sudden happier.

"Hey bae, whats up?"

"I don't know where y'all at?"

"Slow ya roll Sherlock, were at waffle house" Leah said loud enough for him to hear. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Anyways... hurry! Both y'all and Leah shut up I may be Sherlock but yo nigga a damn cry baby!" Tyler said.

"Let me call my baby!" Leah said and ot right on her phone. Are food came and I had to get off the phone. I can't eat and talk on the phone it is either one or the other. Leah over there was steady eating and talking. I love my bestfriend.

I got my letter back from Virginia tech and I got accepted but I don't know. Alabama wants me but that is too far and what about my baby girl. I just can't leave her. I made my way downstairs and noticed my mom cooking.

"Hey Ty" She said as she turned around from the stove.

"Hey" I said as I looked throught the refrigerator. I heard her sigh. Our relationship isn't really the best right now. She has other priorities. Tiana came running into the kitchen. Then seconds later she fell due to her having on socks. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Tiana you okay?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes "Ty stop, laughing"

"Okay I am sorry, still love me" I asked making a puppy dog face.

"No..! Yes I do" She said then exited the kitchen. That little girl makes my day. I swear.

"How is Diamond" My mother asked, every day like she usually does.

"Good" I said smiling just thinking about my baby. "Matter of fact I am about to go see her now" I said as I put on my True Blue's and grabbed a gatorade. I left out the kitchen, opened the door and began to walk to her house.

When I got there I knocked on the door and waited patiently. Diamond came to the door with shorts, a tank top and boots. She blushed "Hey Tyler"

I stepped in to see her mother on the couch "Hey mama" I screamed. "Hey Ty!" She replied.

We both went up to Diamonds room. Of course Diamond's lazy ass flopped right back on the couch.

"You have not kissed me ever since I got here.. come here" I said. She remained in her bed. I toll it upon myself to get in the bed with her. She readjusted herself and laid on me. I looked at her and she looked at me. I went ahead and kissed her, she kissed back.

"That time of month?" I asked.

She nodded her head. I could tell she was her pain, her ain't no joke.

"Did you take some medicine, baby?" I asked as she still was laying on me.

"Uh yeah..but can we just watch tv bae?" She asked me with a puppy dog face. I looked at her then kissed her cheek and then her lips. "Yeah baby, let me text Langston and tell him I am not going to the Y today.

"Can you bring me some ginger ale?" She asked. I nodded my head and got up slowly and went downstairs. I look in the refrigerator and I didn't see any. I went to the cabinet under the island where they keep the bottles of soda, water and more. I found them but its warm. I got a cup and put some ice in it. After that I made my way back upstairs and saw Diamond laying in the same spot. 

"Here baby" I said as I poured the ginger ale in the ice cup and gave it to her.

Short, quick update...

I think this book will have a series is that ok? Because I plan on stopping at chapter 25 but how would  yalll feel about a series that contains 3 books.. this one.. a second... and a last? Put your thoughts down below (:
