Let's talk profile contests.
User Contests
As I say, all contests are worthwhile. Some are more worthwhile than others, though, so if you don't have time for many, here are some things to look out for:
✅ Direct profile broadcasts from profiles with 2,500+ followers. Dozens if not hundreds of people might see your name, and that's great.
✅ Votes as prizes.
✅ Where the prize is a reading list add on a profile with 2,500+ followers.
✅ Where the prize helps readers get to know you, such as an interview. The more personal the interview, the better.
✅Where you get your name in a major book.
✅Where you get a sticker from a profile with 2,000+ followers.
Wattpad Genre Contests
If you want to meet people, gain a little recognition, and work with verified users in an environment you can trust, I recommend getting involved in Wattpad genre profiles or Wattpad community profiles. Places like this:
See what profiles these profiles follow to learn more, and read the rules at any profile you want to get involved in. Then GET INVOLVED! Any profile with a "W" is a great profile with which to interact.
Wherever you go, though, be sure to keep a positive mindset. Spread positivity and don't water your ego! Water the seeds of community and love.
