Third POV

The Next Day

Benny woke up and went to Vanessa house and knock on door. Vanessa woke up early so she was the one that open the door

"Hey Benny ready to go" Vanessa said

"Yeah come on its already 9" Benny said

Vanessa and Benny races to see who can go to the sandlot first and of course Benny won

"I must admit your good " Vanessa said out of breath

"Thank you" Benny said bow down

"Come on guys let play " Ham said and of course they play that until 1 Pm.

Benny POV
I notice that a group of six were coming in the sandlot. There was four girls and two guys. One of the girls has curly hair then there was a girl that was overweight.the other two has browns hair but one has glasses. One of the boys is dark skin and the other keeps starring at Vanessa. Vanessa notice them and she just went to the bench and all the boys went after

"Hey Vanessa is everything okay?"I asked because I kinda scare for her . I see that she is panting and not the good way.i also see that she is losing her breath

"Yeah I just need to go home"Vanessa said with a shakeup voice

"Are those your old friends" Squints asked but we didn't need Vanessa answer to know that they are

"Vane"The dark skin boy yell

"I'm really need to leave guys. I swear "Vanessa said out of breath

"Hey look at me your okay because you are not alone. You have me and the boys okay. Van I need you to breath or your gotta pass out and trust me no one wants to see you like that"I said grabbing her face and making her look at me.

Vanessa nod and I just hug her. I feel her breathing becoming more normal

"Guys go and get those people out of here"I told the guys and they went up to the group and started to talk to them.

"Hey are you okay" I look down at Vanessa

"Yeah " Vanessa said more calm

I heard one of the boys start to yell and I look back and I saw one of the boys were looking like they wanted to punch Yeah Yeah and Squints. Vanessa saw and started to run towards to them and I grab her hand and ran with her.

"Jose calm the hell down" Vanessa said getting in front of all the guys and I was standing next to her

"Why should I" the dark skin said calming down a bit

"Because you were about to beat someone younger then you" Vanessa said

So I'm guessing the dark skin is Jose and Julio was the one that keeps staring at Vanessa

"Well they are the ones that came up to us and told us to leave I mean they should have more respect for us since we are your best friends"the chick that have curly hair said

"Actually you should have more respect towards them because they are the ones that are my best friends"Vanessa said sassy

"And what is he to you"Julio point at me and our hands holding

"Well since you pointed it out then I'm Vanessa boyfriend, Benny " I said trying to get him mad

"What"The ones that had the glasses said surprised

"You heard me" I said putting my hand over Vanessa shoulder and I'm guessing Vanessa catch on to what I'm doing because she put her hand on my side

"Now since you guys are on our sandlot , a little names will be lovely " I said sickly nice

"I'm Britney and this Daniela" The curly girl said and pointing to the overweight girl

"I'm Lyanna and this is Ana" The brown hair said and pointing to the girl in the glasses

"I'm Julio and this Jose" Julio said of course I already know who he is. Vanessa tense up and I just rub her shoulder and I kiss her temple try to get her to calm down. Seeing Julio get angry is plus. Vanessa didn't saw Julio tense up with she put her head on my shoulder

"Well nice to meet you all but we were playing baseball before you guys walk into" I said trying to get them out if here.

"We just want to talk with Vane " Daniela said

"Well I'm sorry but no , you are not talking with Vanessa either of you" I said getting angry by the second

"Dude you really think that she likes you" Jose said getting in my face

"No she doesn't like me " I said

Everyone got surprised after what I said but just wait

"She loves me" I said smirking

"No she actually loves Julio. Wanna know how I know. Because he was her first love. You know that said you never forget your love. Well that exactly what happens here " Jose said smirking harder

I just want to punch him but I can't let him think that his word are got get to me

"Jose I actually love Benny I think that you all have to left."Vanessa said calm

"Whatever" Jose said walking away along with his little group

"Thanks Benny for doing that " Vanessa said hugging me

"Hey we couldn't let them get to you" I said feeling the butterflies I been getting everytime she near me

"And thanks also to you guys also so try to get them out of here. Even if it meant getting beat up" Vanessa turn around hugging each boy

"Come on let's get home" I said

Vanessa POV

I turn around to see Benny. I just side hug him and we went to our house. I don't know what happened today because I was looking at Julio and I didn't get the butterflies I usually get when I see him. But I did get them when Benny kiss my temple but I don't know. I'm just happy that I know that I have friends that I can depend on
