Benny POV

When it's started to get dark. All the guys started to leave until I was the last one

"So tell me Benny, who got the plan to do this" Vanessa said while finishing a song that she wrote about us

"Um mine" I said blushing because I was the one that texted all the guys at 1 Am

"Well thanks I really needed it" Vanessa said smiling

"Can I ask you something" I ask her shy

"Yeah sure anything" Vanessa said looking up at me and putting her sheet to the side

"Actually two things" I said

" Ask away" Vanessa said

"Have you ever wrote a song about or to Julio" I asked scared of the answer

"Um yeah I did and he did the same to me" Vanessa said uncomfortable

"Can you show me some of them" I asked

"Sure" Vanessa said while going to a box and taking some paper . She came back to the bed and pick one

"This is called Beautiful Goodbye . He wrote this" Vanessa said giving me the sheet

"What is it about" I asked looking over it

"Him reminiscing the past, the happy moments he had with me. He was losing me because he has repeatedly done much pain to me, he took me for granted and i just couldn't take it anymore. He's hurt me a lot so I'm walking away. He just lets me go although he doesn't really want to, he wants me to heal and prevent me from crying and being hurt again by him, this way he could make it up to me. Now he's realizing how much he loves me I guess" Vanessa answer but I'm shocked because not once she look sad. Just uncomfortable

"This is another one which is called All You Ever" she handle me another one

"This song is about when I just needed him and he couldn't give that to me and now he looks back and knows that he could've done more but now its too late." Vanessa informant me

"Why do you keep them"I asked

"I hate him but the songs are goods"Vanessa answer giggle

"So your not got get with him again" I said

"No I like someone else" Vanessa said smiling softly

"That person is lucky"I said signing

"I don't know about lucky but I guess"Vanessa said looking down shy

"Hey look at me. You are very beautiful ,any guy is lucky to have you."I said softly

"Thanks Benny" Vanessa said

"Come on show me the rest"I said

"I wrote this one, it's called Say Hello To Goodbye" Vanessa said

"This song about me say goodbye to our love. Along that we have a good time but we didn't find our soul mates in each other." Vanessa explaining

"This is Everything I Didn't Say and the meaning it's the name" Vanessa said

"I see"I said chucking

"The rest I will show you later alright" Vanessa said

"Alright next question" I said

"Hit me"Vanessa said sitting next after putting back the songs

"Do you like one of the sandlot boys" I asked shyly

"Yes I do but I won't tell you who" Vanessa said poking my nose which I had to look down to hide my blush

"Please show the others songs" I beg

"The one that was next I wrote in spanish. It's about Julio changing his mind every day." Vanessa said

"What do you mean" I said confused

"Well you see um Julio would do this thing where he would want to show me he loves me one day and the next he would ignore me. Last summer before we head out he ask me out and of course me still liking him I said yes. And that summer we didn't talk or text only on July 4 he texted to go the movies and I was in the church. So I didn't text him. After that never again. And since he is one year younger then me. I was high school and he was in middle school so I came to visit him and he broke up with me."Vanessa said

"That must suck" I said

"Well that over" Vanessa said

"I'm got start to head out" I said getting up and leaving

Once I got downstair I can see Zak seeing in living room

"Good night" I said

"Wait Benny can I speak to you for a sec" Zak said standing up

"Sure" I said sitting in the couch

"I'm got ask you a question and I want the truth only" Zak said serious

"Anything you need" I said scare

"Do you just happen to have a liking for my daughter and I swear that I won't kill you if you say yes" Zak asked

"To be honest sir yes I do have a crush on her" I said kinda still scare of him. He has muscles and also Louis. I already met all her family along with the boys but not the point.

"So are you planning to tell her" Zak said

"I really doubt that she will likes me back." I said honest

"Well the rest of the boys told me that she told you boys that she happens to like someone that wasn't Julio " Zak said smirking

"Yeah she did told us that" I said confused

"Well Vanessa doesn't know anyone else beside you boys" Zak said

"Really"I reply

"I haven't talk to my daughter yet but I have seen the way she looks at you." Zak said

"How does she looks at me" I said very confused

"She looks at you the same way she used to look at Julio and even more fond"Zak said patting my leg

"So you are saying that I should tell Vanessa" I asked

"I trust you with her" Zak said

"I take you and the boys as my sons. So for a moment lets forget I'm Vanessa's father and I'm your dad.I'm telling you this as a dad. Go and get her" Zak said

"Alright I will" I said smiling

"Good now I'm turning back as Vanessa's dad so I'm mad that you are got make a move with my daughter so get the hell out of house" Zak said joking and sitting back

"Yes sir" I said joking and walking out of the house

Maybe I do have a chance with Vanessa
