Benny POV

I came back and I saw Yeah Yeah was helping Vanessa sit down. When she was sitting Yeah Yeah gave her ice cream and he started to eat his. I sat next to Vanessa and throw my arm around her. She put her head on me.

"About time" Ham yell behind us

"Shut up Ham" I told him

"Whatever " Ham sat on another couch

After every one was finished. We started to eat every thing we could ever find. Until Zak kick us to extract room. Which they like to call the game room. We sat there the whole day. Just talking. I keep asking Vanessa if she was alright or is she in pain. Every time she would said yes and kiss my hand that she would play with. All the guys left but I stay.

"Why don't you go to your house. I bet your mom missing you" Vanessa asked

"I just want to spend time with you and just take care of you." I replied not giving her the real reason

"Benny I know well enough why don't you want to go home" Vanessa took my face in her hands

"I'm scared if I lose you out of sight you might hurt." I told her not really can lie to her face.

" Benny" Vanessa warn me

"I'm for real. What happened the last time I left you. You got stab and might have die" I told her

Vanessa just kiss me. Man do I feel those fire works hitting me hard.

"Benny I'm fine. I have my dad right here. Nothing bad got happen if have you or the boys or my dad around me okay" Vanessa said kissing my forehead

I just hug her. Sudden every bad thing that is wrong just goes away. It's amazing how just one single touch of her and I can calm down.

"Go home and spend time with your mom okay" Vanessa softly command

"Fine" I told her kissing her forehead

"Call me if you or your dad needs anything" I told her also.

"Alright go home safe" Vanessa said standing up with my help and walking to the living room and sitting on a couch

"Zak I'm leaving if you guys need anything call me or one of the boys" I info him and I walk into my house

"Look at the jet." My mom joke

"Sorry mom" I told her embarrassed

"No need, now tell me what up with you and Vanessa" my mom took me to the couch

"Well we are dating and we'll that is that" I replied

"Does she make you happy" my mom smirk

"Very, I really love her mom" I told her

"I know Benny and I like her for you because who else would take one for the team" my mom hug me

"No one" I answer

"Exactly now go to your room and sleep my little jet" my mom mix my hair . I just laugh and did what she told me

The Next Day

I woke up and went to the kitchen

" mom I'm going the sandlot to practice some hits" I informed my mom and she just nod. So I walk to the sandlot. Today is Sunday so all the boys are on church. Their family force them to stay the whole day with them. So I spent the whole day texting Vanessa non stop and playing baseball by my self. Around 5 , I started to get ready to go home until I saw three Phillips friends. I was surprised that Phillips wasn't with them.

"Rodriguez how your little girlfriend" I heard one of them said I think there names was Joe

"What do you want" I asked pissed off that they pick that topic

"Wow someone is in their boy period. " the other guy said swinging his bat. I know that I'm in some deep shit. So I call Smalls hoping he picks up and hear what happenings and bring some help.

"So you got beat me up" I said when I heard the phone being pick up and saying hello

"Yes Little Rodriguez" Joe said and the other two went beside me and grab my arms and Joe walk up to and punch my face and I feel him punch all over my body. The other two drop me and they all start to hit me with their bats. Until I heard the boys yelling and hitting them with their bats

With Smalls

Smalls POV

I heard the whole thing so I ran to Vanessa. She open up

"Hey Smalls what up" Vanessa said

"No time Benny is trouble and he need our help" I said hurrying up

"Alright" Vanessa turn her jacket and ran out

"Wait you can't be running" I told her

"Look I don't care text all the boys to meet us in the sandlot with their bats and fast" Vanessa command and ran to the sandlot and I did what she said and when we got their the whole gang was there running hit the three guys beating up Benny. After they left. I saw Vanessa bleeding tru her shirt and all the boys did too. Benny got his jacket and wrap around the cut.

"Shit Vanessa you okay" Benny asked

"I'm fine it only broke the skin. " Vanessa said holding on to Yeah Yeah. Since Benny was too weak because of the hits and he looks like he got pass out

Phillips ride in

" I heard what happened. Are you okay Rodriguez" Phillips looking at Benny

"Vanessa cut might have reopen and Benny is weak" Ham said

"Look I call the ambulances and they are on the way" Phillips said

On the cue they came and put both Vanessa and Benny but by now Benny has pass out

"Alright just like last time. Go home bring food and tell their parents." DeNunez yell and every one ran to their house.

Please God make sure both of my friends be okay and they won't die. I ran to my house
