Elements Collide (Zuko x Reader)

Ferry Rides

You and Zuko were leaning against the railing of the ferry.

"I can't believe I am going back to the place of my greatest military defeat, as a tourist!" Iroh said.

"Look around. We're not tourists, we're refugees." Zuko countered.

"I'm going to get some more food." You said. On the way, you bumped into Long shot and Smellerbee.

"What are you doing here." Smellerbee said.

"Nice to see you too Smellerbee." You said.

"You too YN." She said.

"Is Jet here?" You asked.

"Yeah. Why? You still love him?" Smellerbee teased you.

"No, it's just that Me and the person I'm traveling with are kinda, well, I don't know" you said.

"I see." Smellerbee said. You gave Long shot a hug and then continued to look for food. It was all rotten so you went back to find Jet talking to Zuko.

"Are you in?" Jet asked. Zuko threw the bowl of food overboard.

"Yeah, I'm in." Zuko said.

"What are you guys doing?" You asked.

"We're just taking some better food than this." Zuko said.

"Finally. This tastes like rotten potatoes." You said.

"You guys know each other?" Jet asked.

"Yeah. How do you know her?" Zuko asked.

"She's my ex girlfriend." Jet put an arm around you.

"Yeah. Ex. So let's keep it that way." You took his arm off of you.

"How do you know her?" Jet asked.

"We travel together." Zuko answered.

"Yes. And she's also dating my nephew." Iroh said.

"Ugh, yeah." You said. You kissed him on the cheek hoping Jet would buy it.

"Yes and me and my girlfriend need to go get some tea." Zuko said. He dragged you to a private area on the ferry.

"When did you date him?" Zuko said.

"Remember when I ran off for about three weeks?" You said.

"Yeah. I remember that pretty well. I need to go meet up with Jet so we can get the food." Zuko left.

*Flashback*
*Zukos POV*

I went into YN room to find that she was missing. I looked all around the ship. My heart was racing. Where could she be.

"Uncle! Where is YN?" I asked.

"I'm afraid she has run off." Uncle said.

"No!" I stayed up all night practicing. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't eat. All I could think about was her. I couldn't even practice my stupid fire bending.
