When I heard Silvia say that my true identity is evil I felt hurt and sad that someone would say something like that. Not only sad but I felt angry at the same time.

She doesn't know me well so she can't judge me yet. It's refreshing to know that Lance is not completely brainwashed and at least he has a bit of a warm heart compared to others.

"What do you mean by too?" Travis asks.

Silvia jumps in shock and turns back to Travis, trying her best to look innocent. "What do you mean?"

"You said 'did she trick you with her stupidity, too?'" He asks. "It's like you're saying that you met her before." Travis laughs. We all laugh along with Travis because his laugh is so contagious. If you hear him laugh you will be laughing along with him even though you don't know the reason for why he's laughing.

"Oh, what am I saying? Sorry for my mistake, Crystal," Silvia apologizes.

But I feel like something was wrong. The Silvia that at first looked more cheerful, it seems like she is lost in her thoughts. I hope to be friends with her soon and help her from her foggy thoughts.

After Silvia and Travis sat back down on the orange plastic sheet, Lance went to grab my phone from the water. He didn't exactly swim inside the pond, obviously, but he had dunk his head inside the pond to find it. After he found my phone, he tossed it back to me and told me to give him water. He was trembling as he was spoke and his mouth was shivering.

It's been weeks ever since my last encounter with Silvia. I had wished to see her once more, to try and settle our differences. I think she got a bit overprotective of her boyfriend, and maybe that's why she snapped on me. I think I would have done the same, however. So, when Travis told me that Silvia wanted to meet with me, I jumped up and down with joy.

"I can't believe it! She really wants to talk it out?!"

"I don't know, she was all serious when she asked me," Travis admitted. "Don't take offense to what she says, though."

"Oh no, I won't take offense at all."

So, when I was dropped off in front of the park, I saw Silvia sitting on one of the benches.

---[BACK TO REAL TIME]---

I walk over to where she's seated and take a seat next to her. I don't look at her, but I see her gazing at my face.

"You're my cousin," she bluntly says. I finally look at her and can tell in all seriousness, she isn't lying. I stay silent, waiting for her next words, "Just kidding," but they never come. Staying silent doesn't help either, but I can't trust my mouth and for all I know they could be filled with foul words at the moment which I'm not too keen on saying. "Your uncle, otherwise known as my father, died recently so your father paid for a place for me to stay in until I feel comfortable enough to share with you guys. At the moment, I'm not staying with Kacey's family."

    Silent as ever.

"Are you dead or something?" she finally asks in defeat.

"I'm not," I say in a tiny voice but thankfully she hears me.

"Then say something about what I just told you," she orders as she glares at me.

"Uh, I'm sorry about your father," I say, truly and deeply sorry. She rolls her eyes and is amused by what I just said.

"Forget about my father, what about the fact that I'm your cousin?"

"That makes everything ten times easier!" I smile as she looks at me in a weird way. "We can become best friends!"
