➵ CHAPTER 4 | CHERRY BLOSSOM CAFE

"So do you have any more lessons?" Yoongi asked.

"Nope. How about you?" I replied. He shook his head.

"Do you want to eat something before we go home?" Yoongi asked as we walked out of the campus.

"Sure!" I agreed happily.

"Lets go to the Cherry Blossom cafe down the road. You like that one, don't you?" He questioned.

"I don't mind anything." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Just say if you like it or don't, idiot." Yoongi sighed.

"I like it!" Yoongi took my hand and pulled me gently towards the school gate. My cheeks felt like it was burning and my heart was beating heavy against my rib cage. The cafe was only a five minute walk from the school. Yoongi opened the door for me and let me walk through. I loved Cherry Blossom because it was so homely and delicate. There were dusty rose walls and cherry blossom trees, dark brown oak for the tables and chairs. Balloons decorated the ceiling and there was a soft, pink glow coming from the lights. To say the least, it was absolutely stunning. We sat down by one of the tables, breathing in the sweet smell of cakes and flowers. Yoongi silently handed me a menu, an emotionless expression plastered his face.

Why do you always carry such a cold expression?

"What do you want to eat?" Yoongi asked.

"Mhm." I hummed quietly, looking down at the menu. "A strawberry parfait and a Suga doughnut."

"Could you please repeat what you said last?" Yoongi smirked.

"A Suga doughnut, please." I quipped.

"Very funny, very funny." Yoongi chuckled softly. I laughed with him, wanting to treasure this moment forever. After we had finished our fun, we ordered and paid for our food. When the food came, I immediately started digging in, not caring about how I looked.

"You have something on your cheek. Here let me get it." Yoongi said. Unexpectedly, he leaned forward and kissed my cheek, licking whatever was on my cheeks. I don't think I have ever blushed so much in my life. Yoongi laughed at my response, "Did you like that then?"

"N-No! What the hell were you thinking? Do you know how many germs you just spread?" I whisper-shouted. As I was complaining about Yoongi's action, a waitress walked up to us and said, "You look like a wonderful couple. Why don't you take these pair of rings."

Now I think I broke the world record for blushing.

"It's fine. We're just friends." Yoongi objected politely. My heart sunk a little and the smile I had faltered. There was something in me that wanted those rings. Upon seeing my reaction, Yoongi decided to buy them instead. He winked at me and I felt my heart shoot right back up. The waitress handed us our rings and gave us a grin before leaving us to ourselves. Yoongi carefully placed the ring onto my finger and I did the same to him. I was left in a daze.

Yoongi then stood up, looked at me and said, "Are you coming or what?"

"Yeah." I stood up and adjusted my outfit. Yoongi held open the door for me and ushered me outside. Once we reached the bus station, I forgot that I left my purse at the cafe. "Oh Suga! I forgot my purse at the cafe. Wait here, I'll go get it!" I exclaimed.

Sprinting back to the cafe, I accidentally tripped over, yet again, but before I hit the ground someone caught me.

"Are you okay?"
