I remember, when I was younger, Mum and Dad used to fight everyday and all I could do was hide under my bed, shivering in fear. Even though the words weren't directed to me, I felt the sting of the insults. I flinched every time someone shouted.

In the end, Dad packed up and left the house, tired of all the conflict. Mum started crying in her bedroom whilst I silently sobbed under my duvet. We never tried to contact Dad after he left and we had a fresh start.

I stared down at the cup of hot chocolate I had in my hands. After my sudden encounter with Dad, I returned home with Jimin and Dad came along as well. Mum was shocked when she saw Dad walked through the door and her eyes even started to water.

Me, Mum and Dad sat around the table in the kitchen whilst Jimin went up to his room. The awkward silence was painful and I tried to think of something to say. "What happened after you left us? Dad." I said, whispering the last part.

"After I left, things started going downhill in my life. Pretty soon, I was on the streets and I had to scavenge around for any small job that I could do for food. I didn't want to come back to you for help because I didn't want to be a burden. I eventually slipped into the bad ways and started to pick pocket and I also rob people, like I tried to do with Y/N. I'm so so sorry." Dad explained, shaking his head in shame.

"You should ask if you need help." Mum said, her eyes softening. I yawned loudly, tired from the eventful day.

"Sorry! I'm really tired so I'm going to head upstairs and sleep." I said.

"Ok honey! Sleep tight." Mum said, smiling at me. I went upstairs and flopped on my bed. I rubbed at my forehead, processing all the new information. I changed into my night clothes and slipped into my bed. I tried to sleep but my efforts were in vain. In the end, I was staring at the ceiling, thinking about Mum and Dad. I was worried they would start fighting again.

I picked up my phone and dialled the only person I knew would help.

"Hello?" muttered a sleepy Suga.

"Hello, it's Y/N." I said.

"Y/N! Is everything alright?" Suga asked, more alert.

"Can I come over?"

"My parents are out on a business trip and my sister's sleeping so it's fine but isn't it late for you to be come round?"

"It's fine. I'll be over in ten minutes."

"Alright. Take care." I slipped on a hoodie and crept downstairs, slipping on my converses. I put my hoodie up and left the house, quietly closing the door. I walked all the way to Suga's house. I knocked on the door of his house, hopping from one foot to another. Suga came down and opened the door. He was in his pyjamas and he had bags under his eyes.

We went into the house and up to his bedroom. "So why did you want to come?" Suga asked. I explained what had happened with my Dad and how I was feeling anxious.

"I couldn't get to sleep so I asked if I could come round." I said.

"Why me?" He questioned.

"I don't know! I just thought of you, that's all." I spluttered, turning red.

"I know I'm amazing." Suga said, smirking.

"You're not that great, you know." I scoffed.

"Well then, I'm going to eat ice cream." He said, smugly.

"But we're in Autumn not summer." I said.

"Does that matter? Anytime is good for eating ice cream." He said.
