When Ashton answered the phone he sounded pleased

It's like he was expecting me to call him

I couldn't help but to smile to myself

Deep down inside I knew he was smiling too

I waited in the managers office until he arrived

But it wasn't Ashton I saw first

Surprisingly it was Calum

He got a new haircut

It's very nice

"You ready to go Michael?" he asked

I nodded and followed him to Ashton's car

Ashton wasn't in it

"You're probably wondering where Ashton is, right?"

I nodded

"He's still at Neon Haze. Luke arrived out of nowhere and he was covered in dried up blood. He had a bruise on his face. He looked pretty dangerous. When he asked for you Ashton signalled for me to leave through the back. I'll be taking you to my house instead, I think you'll be safer there."

"C-Calum?"

He started the car then looked at me

"Why were you at Neon Haze with Ashton?"

He shrugged his shoulders

This did not tame my curiosity

Calum pulled off into some unknown direction

He played some random music but I want listening

My mind was on Ashton

After what happened to Dan and Phil I don't trust Luke

Deep down inside I know he's going to try something with Ashton

Hell, he might even just go off on everyone in Neon Haze

He seemed at always calm down whenever I approached him though

Maybe I'm the key

Maybe I can be the one that saves the lives of the innocent people in the club

"Take me to Neon Haze."

Calum looked at me funny

I continued to stare out the window

"What?" He said

"I said take me to Neon Haze."

"You're crazy Mikey, I'm never going to do that."

I turned my head and looked him dead in the eyes

"Calum, I didn't fucking stutter. Take. Me. To. Neon. Haze. Now."

I put a little base in my voice

I'm tired of people only hearing what I say

It's easy to hear something

But now

I don't want to be heard

I want to be listened to

Calum obeyed me and turned the car around

My heart began to race at super sonic speeds

What if Luke already killed Ashton?

What if Luke's looking for me?

One can only pray
