We're all looking for tattoos, until I see Nathan going up to Tori with a tattoo in his mind. I look at all the numerous tattoos, intimidated by the amount of tattoos there are. I see the perfect tattoo of an infinity sign lit on fire.
I walk to Tori with the tattoo in my hand.
"Only tattoos," Tori says to me.
"I have a tattoo." I mutter under my breath.
Tori stares at me. I hold the infinity sign lit on fire in my hand rolling my eyes.
"What do you call this?" I snap.
Her eyes drift. "Sorry, Kat. Coming right up."
I sit in the chair as the ink seeps into my skin. It stings, especially since it is being imprinted onto my left wrist.
"Dauntless was a bad decision," Tori says.
"What do you mean?" I ask, confused by the statement.
"You could be executed Kat," Tori whispers with a warning tone.
My stomach plummets. When she finishes doing the tattoo to me.
"I'm a survivor, I'm not going to give up," I mutter.
"Watch out Catherine," she says as I feel the burn from the tattoo.
I walk away from the stand. Nathan has a fresh tattoo of a snake behind his left ear. It's just like Uriah's. Uriah. Nathan. What the f*** is going on?!
"Hey, Nathan," I mutter.
"Oh! Hey Kat! Nice tattoo there."
"You too." I say.
We walk back around the pit.
