Bria's POV

''Hey babe" I called James

"Yeah" he answered

"You know that I've missed a lot of days from school right'' I said

''Yeah, so?''

''So, I have a lot to catch up on''

''No worries, you can stay home and learn''

''What?''

''I'll hire a tutor for you''

''But I wanna go to school"

"No"

''Why not''

"Its not safe out there for you and you know it'

''I use to go to school before and it was quite safe for me''

"That's before you met me''

''Yeah. Its the same''

"No, its not Bria''

''Really, what's different?"

"The fact that I have an enemy that has his eyes on you''

''But I thought Sham was dead''

"He is, there's more''

"What? when did you find this out and why didn't you tell me?''

"I'm sor-''

''No you're not! You always do this, you put me in danger you know that!"

"You knew I was dangerous before"

"I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the fact that you knew someone was out there to get me and you didn't tell me, that's the same thing you did when Sham was after me.''

''I didn't want to worry you''

''Well you did a good job on that''

''I'm sorry, it won't happen again.''

"Yeah, whatever.''

''I mean it''

"Okay''

"Come on babe, don't be mad at me''

"I'm not''

''Okay, gimme a kiss''

He leaned in to kiss me when his phone rang.

We both groaned, he looked at the ID caller on his phone and his face expression changed from happy to a mixture of sadness and anger.

He went outside and took the call.
When he came back in I asked him if everything was okay. He said yes but I could see he wasn't.

"Are you sure you're o-" I asked again but was cut off by him.

"I said I'm fine, I'm going to bed." He said sternly

I just nodded and leaned in to kiss him goodnight but he just took the kiss, he didn't even kiss back.

Wow. Something must be really wrong with him.
