You've sang to Mikey before, it wasn't something you would normally do with others besides your siblings but with Mikey it was different. The both of you enjoyed it, Mikey especially. He always loved your singing, whatever song it was since you, in Mikey's words, made the song 1000 times better. He didn't understand why you were shy about it at first but he didn't really mind. He was currently sitting on the roof top above your apartment listening to your singing, this song was always his favorite. He didn't fully understand the meaning of the song but that didn't seem to matter, he just liked the sound of your delicate voice singing.

"Amen, amen, amen..."

You were absentmindedly singing along with your radio as you were doing homework, an often habit that happens. Not like anyone cares though, Mikey surely loved hearing you sing and it didn't bother him the slightest. Grinning he was watching you multitask before laying down on the roof looking up at the moon. He usually would be in your room by now, distracting you from your task but you seemed to occupied with everything so he just stayed on the roof. As you continued, Mikey was slowly becoming more and more enchanted with your voice. The way you sang was so enticing and fluent, what he loved the most about it was how strong your voice was. In all honesty, he saw you as an angel that was sent here to sing for all the people to hear.

"That looks tasty, that looks plenty. This is hungry work"

Humming along with the music, Mikey smiles as he continues to look up at the stars. He thinks every now and then when you two would just sit on the roof looking at the stars, talking about random things that never really made sense but seemed... Comforting. The day you two met came into play, your smile being the first thing Mikey noticed and loved. A tiny blush swept his cheeks, why did he feel like this? For the last month he had been having strange sensations in his stomach, like butterflies were dancing all around and he didn't understand why. It was only around you, the feeling of joy and love overwhelming the turtle each time you laughed, smiled or hugged him. Love... It was such a strong word but felt right, maybe that's why he felt this way?

"Only then I am human, only then I am clean"

Placing his hand where his heart was, Mikey could feel it beat rapidly with the thought of you embracing him tightly. The day you were crying, you held on so tightly and when you nuzzled him he felt happy and relieved that you cared for him. Looking at you through the window, Mikey knew for sure that he loved you. Not just a friendly way either, nor a family kind... He fell in love with you. "Hmm... Well, he did say that I can love whoever I want! Maybe he loves me too!!" Mikey grins at the thought of you sharing a kiss, gentle and sweet just like you. He held his cheeks and could feel heat burning his hands, the young turtle was blushing for sure but that didn't matter.

"Take me to church, I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies"

Standing up, he blew onto the window so it was foggy. With his finger, he drew a heart where your face was and smiled widely. He couldn't wait to tell his family and friends about this! Running to the closets manhole, he was imagining all the possible ways he would ask you out. "Don't worry [y/n]!! I'm going to make sure that we are the best couple anyone will ever see!!" A giant smile was plastered on his face, so this is what love felt like. For the first time, Mikey experienced what it's like to be in love with someone. And he was happy that it was you of all people, even though not everyone will accept it. But that didn't seem to faze him one bit, because you two would be happy and that's all what really mattered.

"Offer me that deathless death. Good god let me give you my life"

Happily walking into the kitchen, he sits next to Leo and is practically bouncing up and down in joy. The eldest raises an eye ridge at him, "You okay there Mikey?" "Yup, just thinking about [y/n]" Leo's eyes widened, what did you do now?! He was aware of all the stuff you two did and it scared him, it was like having hyperactive twins and it was a lot to handle. Everyone stares at the young teen silently asking what was up with him, "Okay, so you know that guy [y/n] I told you about?" Everyone nods their heads in unison and give him a questionable look, except Splinter who was smiling, already knowing what his son was about to say. Grinning from ear to ear Mikey continues, "Well, for the past month I've been getting these weird mushy feelings in my stomach and it only happened around him. So I thought maybe I was sick but now I get it! The reason why was because of [y/n]!! I have a huge crush on him, and I plan on asking him on a date tomorrow... You guys won't be making fun of us, right?" Mikey says with innocence laced in his voice. He was aware of the things people said and did to you for your sexuality and he didn't want his family or friends doing the same thing.

It was quiet before Sensei spoke up, "We will do no such thing Michelangelo. I am happy to see you wanting to be in a relationship with this boy" Mikey happily grinned at his fathers words, "Really!!" Donnie smiles, "Yeah.. I guess that explains a lot, never thought you would be bisexual though..." "I don't think any of us expected him to be in a relationship period" Raph replies and smirks at his little brothers excitement. Leo was just as happy as the others were, "Now how did I know you would eventually fall for him?" He wraps an arm around Mikey and smiles. Casey and April smile as well, "Looks like you really like him huh?" "I can see it now..." Mikey laughs and does a small happy dance in his chair.

He was happy knowing that everyone accepted him still, and couldn't wait for tomorrow to ask you out.
