Kiefer's POV

I just laid in my bed for I don't know how long pagkauwi ko galing sa party ni Von. I can't sleep. Hindi parin mawala sa isip ko yung kanina.

The way she looked back at me. The way she tried to avoid my gaze.

Ughh! Kiefer! Youre not helping youself.

I just divert my attention to other things para hindi ko na siya maisip. I browse the net. I drink a little wine. I paced back and forth in my room. I even read my notes pero no avail parin.

I just gave up and laid myself back to my bed and let those memories with her come to my sytem until I fell asleep.

"Manong why do you look so tired? Diba half-day training lang kayo kahapon? May game pa naman kayo mamaya" Thirdy asked while we're having breakfast.

Actually ilang araw na akong matagal nakakatulog just because of the very same reason. Simula pa to nung birthday ni Von.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.

"Anak, masama yan. Aalis yung grasya" My mom said.

"Sorry Ma" I apologised.

"May problema ka ba anak? Is this about sa game niyo?" Daddy ko naman.

"Wala po pa." - I answered.

"Bakit ka ganyan? Usually naman excited ka kung may game kayo ah"- He followed up.

"Siguro kinakabahan lang po ako para mamaya. Feeling ko kasi I'm not that prepared po eh" I lied para hindi na sila magtanong.

"Manong, don't worry we'll watch naman later. We'll cheer you up." Dani said. I just smiled at them then continue eating in silent.

Alyssa's POV

"Ly nasan kana ba? Nandito na sila Den at Kiwi. Ikaw nalang kulang. Malapit ng magsimula yung game" - Lau said on the other line.

"Eto na po. Magpapark na ako. Basta yung seat ko, i reseseve niyo lang" I answered.

"Okay, bilisan mo" sabi niya.

Then I ended the call.

I woke up late today kaya matagal kong nasimulan yung mga dapat kong gawin ngayong araw na to. So matagal din akong natapos, kaya ako nahuli dito.

Pano ba naman ako makakatulog kung marami yung gumugulo sa isip ko. This all started nung birthday ni Von. Siguro nagiguilty na naman ako dahil kay Kiefer. Yun lang yun.

Pero tama naman yung ginawa ko eh. Kiefer and I both have different careers now. We became at the top of our sports. Natalo nga sila the last three season, nung hindi na kami, pero marami namang offers na dumating. I know nakapagfocus na siya lalo.

At least that's what I think.

After I parked dumiretso na ko sa loob. Nakapasok naman ako kaagad dahil nakilala ako nung mga nagbabantay. Nakita ko rin kaagad sila Besh, so I went over them.

"Besh! Antagal mo naman. Magsisimula na oh" sabi ni Denden pagkakita niya sakin then I gave them a hug.

"Oo na. At least nandito na ako." Sabi ko at umupo na. Sakto namang magjujumpball na sila.

My eyes quickly find Kiefer. He's so focus on this one, kita yung determination sa mukha niya.

The ball game started. Habulan lang yung scores.
