Everyday felt like a repeat but today felt like a new day to Justin, and that's because it's Saturday.

Every weekend, either something good would happen or something bad. There was no in between but Justin thought wrong because his weekend was going so fine until the devil came to visit and piss all over his happiness.

"Here we are, son. As promised, we're at the carnival" Justin said as his son, Alex looked around as he tried picking out a ride to go on first.

"I want to go up there!" Alex pointed to a ride that began spinning around, "let me just get you tickets" Justin walked towards the ticket machine and entered a twenty dollar bill.

Alex couldn't help but smile in pure excitement.

"Here you go" Justin handed his son thirty tickets as he smiled, "thank you dad" Alex ran in line and Justin followed his son as he stood by the gates to watch.

Alex handed the man three tickets and climbed on the ride as Justin grabbed his phone to take a photo.

Alex gave his father a wide smile and a thumbs up as Justin took the photo and took another photo to post on snapchat with the caption, 'My son is officially a brave man now.'

Justin bit his lower lip, he knew Jason would be the first one to look at the photo. Even though Jason is always the first one to look at Justin's photos, Justin never looked at his because he wanted Jason to know that he didn't need him anymore.

Jason bailed on Justin and Justin is okay with that.

The ride started and Justin put his phone away as he watched his son in amusement.

Justin heard his phone go off and he grabbed it from his pocket.

"Hello?"
