MANAN- YOU ARE STILL THE ONE

CHAPTER -25

Two days passed by.

Nandini's Dadi was out of danger now.

She came back to her home.

Nandini was so busy in taking care of Dadi that she didn't get time to call or message Manik.

On the other hand, Manik was too restless as he didn't get to talk to Nandini for two days.

Every time he used to dial Nandini's number but disconnected the call immediately.

He just wanted to confess his guilt to Nandini as soon as possible.

Manik was neither able to sleep nor eat properly.

He was even avoiding Soha's calls.

In Nandini's house -

One day by chance Nandini's Dadi saw the photo of Manik in Nandini's mobile.

She thought that it was the pic of Nandini's boyfriend.

Dadi asked Nandini - Nandini Beta yahan aao mere paas.

Nandini - Ji Dadi.

Saying this Nandini went and sat infront of Dadi.

Dadi- Beta ek baat puchu. Sach sach batana.

Nandini - Pucho na Dadi.

Dadi- Kya tum kisise pyar karti ho.

Nandini - No Dadi.... Aap aisa kyu puch rahi ho.

Dadi- Maine tumhare phone me is ladke ki photo dekhi.

Nandini - Ohh yehhh. Dadi ye Manik hai.

Varsha came in the room and said- Haan Dadi ye Manik hai. Nandini ka senior hai college me aur friend bhi. Aur Kuch nahi.... Hai na Nandini....

Nandini - Haan right.

Varsha - Dadi ek baat batau. Jab bhi Nandini Manik ke baare me baat karti hai to iska chehra glow karne Lagta hai.

Dadi looked at Nandini and said- Nandini kya ye sach hai. Dekho meri taraf.

Nandini looked at Dadi and lowered her gaze.

Dadi- Hey Bhagwaan. Nandini tumhe to sach me pyar hogaya hai.

Varsha - Dekha Maine to Pehle hi kaha tha. But tum maan hi nahi rahi Thi.

Nandini - Dadi aap bhi na. Is Varsha ki baaton me mat aao. Ye to Kuch bhi bolti hai.

Dadi- Mai apne experience ke basis pe bol rahi hoon. Tumhare chehre Par likha hai ki tum usse kitna chahti ho.

Nandini got up to leave.

Dadi- Nandini Ek baar meri baat pe vichar zarur karna.

Nandini - Ji Dadi.

And she left.

Nandini went to her room and stood infront of mirror and said to herself -

Kya Dadi Jo keh rahi hai wo sach hai?

Kya mai sach me Manik ko friend se zyada samajhti hoon?

Do I love him?

Yes I love him.

Nandini Murthy you are in love with Manik.

Saying this she blushed.

Nandini took out her phone and was about to dial Manik's number but stopped.

Nandini - But I can't tell him about my feelings on phone. Pehle mujhe ye to maloom hona chahiye ke Manik mere liye kya feel karta hai.

Kal jab main wapas jaungi to baat karungi Manik se.

Thinking of all this she went to sleep.

Next day Nandini bid Bye to Dadi and her family and returned back.

She directly went to the hostel.

Nandini skipped the college for the day.

In the afternoon she called Manik.

Manik immediately lifted her call .

Manik -

Nandini..... Tum theek ho na.

Why didn't you call me for two days?

Is everything ok?

How is your Dadi now?

Is she better?

Nandini -

Manik..... Everything is fine.

I am at the hostel now. Aaj Subah hi aayi hoon mai.

Manik - What?

You are back.

Tumne mujhe bataya kyu nahi.

I am coming there in half an hour.

We need to talk.

Nandini - No no no. Tum yahan mat aana.

Manik - Why?

Nandini - I have something to say .

Manik - Bolo.

Nandini - Aise nahi. We have to meet for that.

Manik - Ok. But abhi to tumne hostel aane se mana Kia tha.

Nandini - Haan because hum kahi aur mil rahe hai.

Manik - Kaha?

Nandini - I will text you the address and time. Tum bas time pe pahuch Jana. Ok.

Manik - Ok. Mai aajaunga time pe.

Saying this he kept the call and went to get ready.

All this was heard by someone who was standing at the door of Manik's room.
