MANAN- YOU ARE STILL THE ONE

CHAPTER -34

Hey guys....

I am back with another update.

Nandini went straight to her class and occupied her seat.

Manik followed her and entered Nandini's class.

Everyone present there were surprised or should I say shocked to see Manik in the class as he was their senior.

Every girl present in the class was shamelessly oggling at Manik.

Almost every single girl of the college had a huge crush on Manik.

But Manik without paying attention to anyone of them went straight to Nandini and sat beside her.

Nandini hadn't seen Manik enter the class.

She was busy in her books.

When Nandini felt someone sitting beside her, she looked up and saw Manik.

Nandini - Manik tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Manik - Kya kar raha hoon Matlab? Class attend karne aaya hoon.

Nandini - Manik jhoot mat bolo. Tum to senior ho na to is class ko attend karne ka kya Matlab?

Manik - Oh God Nandini. Tum kitne sawal puchti ho?

Wo kya hai na ki maine special permission li hai professor se.

You know I m weak in a subject isiliye dobara attend kar raha hoon lectures.

Nandini - Ok fine. Jo karna hai karo but Tumhe yahi jagah mili thi baithne ko. Kahi aur bhi toh baith sakte ho na tum?

Manik - Baith to sakta hoon but just look around once , and tell me if any seat in the class is empty.

The whole class is occupied except this seat. Isiliye mai yahan baitha hoon.

Tumhe kya laga?

Nandini - Kuch nahi laga mujhe. Ab tumhari baatein khatm hogayi ho to let me read. Stop distracting me.

Manik - Maine Kaha distract Kia tumhe. Tum hi itne sawal puchti jarahi ho.

Nandini - Ok fine I won't ask anything.

Saying this Nandini continued with the reading.

And Manik, well he was just staring at Nandini.

Nandini looked at Manik through the corner of her eyes and found him staring at her.

Nandini - Tum mujhe kyu dekh rahe ho?

Manik - Arey yaar mai bore ho raha hoon. Till the professor comes, I need to do something which will interest me.

Nandini - To jao Jake Kisi aur ladki se baat karo. Waise bhi all the girls here are dying to talk to you.

Manik looked around and found the girls staring at him.

When he saw them, the girls looked away.

Manik smirked and said to Nandini - So you are jealous.

Nandini without looking at Manik - No I am not.

Manik - Yes you are. I can see that.

Nandini - Manik I am not jealous Ok.

Manik was about to say something when the Professor entered.

He started the lecture and Nandini was paying full attention or rather was trying to pay attention as Manik kept distracting her from Time to time.

And Nandini was shooting daggers at Manik through her eyes for not allowing her to concentrate in the class.

The lecture got over and the professor asked few questions to the students regarding the topic which he taught today.

When it was Nandini's turn, Manik held her hand below the bench and pressed it not allowing her to get up.

When the Professor noticed that Nandini didn't get up, he asked

Professor - What happened Nandini? Are you ok?

Nandini looked towards the Professor and said- Yes sir I am fine

Professor - Ok then don't you know the answer?

Nandini - I know it sir.

Manik was enjoying Nandini's expressions all this while as she was struggling to free her hand from Manik's hold.

Professor - Then answer it.

Nandini looked at Manik and pleaded him through her eyes to leave her hand.

Manik immediately left her hand .

Nandini got up and answered the question put by the Professor.

The class ended after a few minutes and everyone started to leave one by one and in no time the class was empty.

Manik and Nandini were alone in the class.

Manik was about to leave the class when Nandini stopped him.

Manik turned towards her and asked - Kya hua Nandini. Why did you stop me?

Nandini - Manik tumne mera hath kyu pakda class me?

Manik - Kyu Tumhe Acha nahi laga?

Nandini - Manik answer me. Agar Kisi ko pata chal jata to. To sab kya sonchte mere baare me. How can you even do such a thing.

She kept on giving lecture to Manik.

Manik pulled Nandini towards him with a jerk.

Due to the sudden pull Nandini's hand landed on Manik's chest.

Manik- Shhh.... Don't say a word.
Tumhe sab ki fikr hai but what about me.

Why do you have to be so difficult all the time?

Don't you feel anything for me anymore?

Just because you heard something, you have broken all your ties with me.

Why Nandini? Don't you trust me anymore?

Nandini - No I don't trust you. Even if I do,you will again break my trust.

Nandini said this looking straight into Manik's eyes.

On hearing this,Manik loosened his grip on Nandini.

Taking this opportunity,Nandini freed herself from Manik and left the class.

All this was heard by someone who was standing there at the door of the class.

Manik just stood there looking at the board blankly

After a couple of minutes,Manik felt a hand on his shoulder.

Manik turned back and was surprised to see the person there.

Manik - Tum yahan???

Person - Yes. Mai yahan. What is all this? What's going on?

Manik - Nothing. Kuch nahi.

Person - Comeon don't try to hide it from me. I have heard your convo with Nandini.
And I need an explanation.
