BUNKER

"What happened when I was gone, Elena?" Dean asks.

"What do you mean what happened?" Elena says. "I spent the whole year looking for you, you know that."

Dean steps closer to her. "I do know that, but what I'm wondering is how." He says. "How did you manage to find me so quickly?"

"I asked around." Elena says. "That's what you do when you want to find someone."

Dean holds his hand out. "Give me your phone." He says.

"No." She says.

"Give me the damn phone, Elena." Dean says as she hands it over. He opens the call log and sees a familiar name: Crowley. He immediately pulls out a gun and points it at Elena. "You're working for the freakin' devil?"

"Dean, put the gun down." Elena says and holds up her hands. "I'm not a demon."

"Why should I believe you? You've been lying to me this entire time." Dean says.

"Yes I have, but I have a good reason why." Elena says. "Now put the gun down. I'll prove it to you that I'm not a demon. Get your flask." Dean reaches into his jacket to pull out of his flask and flings the water at her. She doesn't sizzle or burn. "See?"

Dean puts his gun down. "Then what the hell are you doing with Crowley?" He asks.

"You should probably go wake up Sam."

BUNKER

Dean, Elena and Sam all sit at the main table, Sam looking extremely tired. "So what? You made a deal with Crowley?" Sam asks.

"Yes."

"To get me out of Purgatory?" Dean asks. "You couldn't have waited sooner?"

Elena sighs. "I didn't know you were getting out on your own. So I made the deal." She says.

FLASHBACK

CROSSROADS

Elena is seen putting things into a small box. She waits a few moments. "Well there's a first time for everything." A familiar voice and Elena turns around. Crowley is standing with an amused look on his face. "What? No devil's trap."

"Don't need one." Elena says. "I want to make a deal."

Crowley smiles. "Elena Gilbert, the Warrior Princess, making deals. What can I do for you?" He asks.

"I want you to bring Dean back." She says and Crowley laughs.

"Even I don't have that much power." Crowley says and squints at her. "Does little Sammy know what you're doing?"

"No. As far as I can tell, he doesn't intend on helping." She says.

"I can't get you there, but I can do you one better." He says. "The portal can be opened and closed by a human. Last I checked, that includes you." Crowley says. "If you stand close enough, you can practically reach in and pull him out."

"It's just that easy?" Elena asks.

"No, but you're a smart girl." Crowley says. "Now to my part of the deal." He says. "You have a lot of potential, considering you're a reincarnation of the Queen of Hell."

Elena scowls. "Skip the background check, Crowley. What do you want?"

"I have a lot of deals that are expiring and honestly, I'm tired of using the Hellhounds. They can be a bit...toothy."

"You want me to kill the people with expired due dates?" Elena asks. "Why?"

"You're one of the most powerful people in the world, well, besides me of course." He says. "What do you say? Is it a deal?"

"Kiss me and I'll stab you." Elena says and holds out the demon knife.

Crowley looks taken aback. "A handshake will do just fine." He says. They shake hands.
