I feel like in every play there is always at least one person who likes to take props out of their places and messes with them. These people I will refer to as prop monsters.
If a prop monster has a prop, hide. I don't care if it is a weapon or an apple. They are still dangerous. If you do make the mistake of going over to the prop monster, be warned. They can make anything a weapon and, if it breaks, you don't want the blood of an innocent prop on your hands.
Isn't that devastating?
I might be being a bit dramatic (ha ha a bit) but if a prop monster moves a prop the person responsible for it may not be able to find it. The scene will then involve on the spot ad-libbing or an invisible prop. That is not fun for an actor.
If you think you are a prop monster I have some simple advice:
All the world's a stage and with that I end this page.
