Chapter 7 - Lead to the Slaughter

King Arrogant as i had taken to calling him in my head what teaching  about Telmarines and their sword fights.

"now it won't be easy but with the strength and courage you will win" i scoffed

"yes you forgot to mention a couple of tricks, have you forgotten Telmarines play dirty. oh wait you haven't been her in a while so..." i smirked, he stood straight

"i forgot your name" he glared at me i smirked

"i never gave it." i retorted

"this is Willow, your majesty the one i was telling you about" Trumpkin told the King who nodded

"well then if you're so sure on what Telmarines will do please show us" he gestured to beside him i walked up and unsheathed my sward

"you ready" he asked i didn't replied just smiled he attacked and i blocked  he tried to hit me but i ducked and attacked and dropped kicking his legs making him go the  ground and held a sward to his neck.

"like i said couple of trick you want to beat them you think ahead and be ready, you don't you're dead" i sheathed my sward walking past him that felt good . after a little training King Arrogant began planning.

" Ed you can give us signals from the tower, Willow i want you to go with him for safe measure" king went on and on i was going but something will go wrong its an attack on the Telmarine Castle its bound to.

that night two griffins  carried me and Edmund i was allowed to call three royals by their first names the dropped us on one of the tower and i got out my bow  looking around from the roof i saw the one guard when he wasn't looking i shot him. we got down and Edmund used his magical torch. we saw Susan and her brother with Caspian come in on griffins

"so that's what we do now then, just wait?" i asked he nodded looking out as he finished with his torch.

"yep" i sighed this was boring even stealing weapons was more fun.

"okay" i looked out to the grounds and stood in silence.

"Peter told us how you may have beat him in sward training" Edmund smirked

"may have there was nothing may have about it, proving that you'll need more than courage and will to win a fight against a Telmarine solider it silly I've seen how the fight had a run in with them a couple of times managed to get away with my life." i explained to the young King. he chuckled

while waiting Edmund played with torch that was he juggled it and it fell out of his hands down wards to the other part of the tower

"really Edmund, come on" i go out a bow and ready myself sneaking down the steps we watched as one guard looked at the torch switching it on. the warning alarm sounded he the guard looked around.

"stay here look out I'll deal with this." Edmund ordered he jumped on to the back and the fought back

"I'm a bit busy Pete" Edmund shouted i sighed and shot the guard. coming down. i looked over  Edmund gave the signal.

"what is he doing we have no chance there too many" i stressed we climbed down to a roof and watched as Narnian fought as my family and friends fought archers lined up so we knocked him out.

"Ed...Willow" we looked to the side uh oh we ramed for the door as the shot arrows Edmund closed it.

"back upstairs now" we ran up the steps and back to our original post i locked the door. we looked out it was more than a deep drop we could see the bottom solders banged on the doo i grabbed my sward better use for this  the door rammed open and i looked down our griffins i tapped Edmunds shoulder and he got the idea. we let go falling backward and onto our Griffins who flew out.

down below was a disaster friends and family were getting slaughtered , we flew over the court yard, dead all dead i screamed before bursting out into tears. i had grown up with them were helped raised and now they are dead. sometime during the flight i fell asleep crying
