The team was out again on patrol Ratchet and Optimus remained behind. The medic had things to do, and the Prime was working in the back. The kids were waiting for their guardians to get back. Raf and Jack were doing their homework while Miko laid on the couch upside down. She sighed heavily and glanced in the direction of the computer. She walked over to the rail and watched the man.

"Ratchet." She said after a moment, he ignored her and she grinned.

"Ratchet. Ratchet. Ratchet. Ratchet. Ratchet. Ratchet." He ignored her.

"Ratchet. Ratchet. Ra-"

"What!?" He shouted and looked at her as he banged the desk.

"Hi." She grinned mischievously and he growled. "Ratchet. Ratchet. Ratchet. Ratchet. Ra-"

"I swear by Primus if you don't stop I'm going to throw you into a smelting pit in Kaon!" He snapped.

"Someones tightly wound." She said as she smirked. He sighed heavily and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Miko, why do you feel the need to pester me when I'm working!?" He said voice rising.

"I'm so bored!" She said as she hung her arms over the rail.

"You're more than welcome to go home!" He shouted.

"We don't want to go home yet." She huffed.

"Then for the love of-" he stopped himself and rubbed his face as he growled.

"Uh Miko I saw something in one of the other rooms. Maybe we can do something with it." Jack said. She grinned and the kids took off down the hall. Ratchet sighed in relief and went back to work.

The kids found some poles and a tarp they grinned at each other and ran to the top of the base. They set up a makeshift tent and found some broken crates to build a fire. They didn't have luck with that and decided to raid the kitchen. They figured they'd build a fire later.

Optimus rubbed his face tiredly and walked to the kitchen. He looked in the cupboard for the cookies called 'Oreos,' but they were gone. He furrowed his brow, had he eaten them all already?

He looked around and noticed some other things were missing. He saw something on the floor and he raised an eyebrow. He picked it up and realized it was a marshmallow. There was another one at the door. He noticed another in the hall and he furrowed his brow as he followed the trail to the roof.

The kids laughed as they sat in their makeshift tent. They smiled at each other as they talked and ate the food. A few minutes later they decided to try and make the fire again. They heard footsteps approaching and the kids froze. The footsteps stopped and they held their breath, worried they would get in trouble.

A moment later the flap to the entrance pulled up quickly and the girl shrieked in surprise. Optimus crouched at the entrance and raised an eyebrow as he looked at them curiously. They stared back unsure what he would do.

"Uh.... hello." Miko said nervously. She wondered if he would be mad that they had taken all the snacks. He just stared at them.

"Want a cookie?" Raf asked as he smiled and held out an Oreo.
