Eavesdropper (Steve Rodgers x Reader)

"I love you, Y/N!" Tony squealed, mocking Steve.

Steve was on the couch, blushing all the way down to his neck and was face-palming Clint, Tony and Sam.

"You should see how you stare at her." Clint laughs.

Y/N was walking to the kitchen to get something to eat, but was about to walk in on their tease fest, about Steve liking Y/N.

Y/N first was blushing hard, but then started silent laughing fits at how they teased.

It's was just too cute and funny.

"Oh~ Y/N!" Sam mocked.

"Can you guys just shut up?" Steve groaned.

"Language, Cap." Tony told him, pouring himself some whiskey.

"I don't understand why you don't just ask her out already." Clint said, staring at the TV, which was playing The Flash.

"She doesn't li-"

"Lies!" Same cut in.

Steve groaned and put his head in between his legs.

"How about you practice with us?" Sam offered.

"I got you!" Tony called out and ran to a random cabinet.

He pulled out a h/c wig.

"Why do you have that?" Clint asked.

"I'm prepared." Tony answered, smugly. "Now, soldier!" Tony yelled at Steve.

Steve jumped and scrambled to stand up, knowing what Tony would do if he didn't.

"Now how do approach the woman you love?"

"I told you guys, she would-"

"Answer my question soldier!"

Y/N finally lost it and laughed out loud.

The guys whipped around.

Clint was already laughing was not surprised.

Tony and Sam looked at Steve and Y/N.

Steve looked horrified.

Y/N was dying on the floor, in laughing fits.

"I'll leave you two alone." Tony said and grabbed Clint and Sam out of the room.

Steve flushed red and looked like he was burned in the face.

Y/N looked at Steve, grinning at him.

"So..." She leaned closer, smiling. "I heard a you like me?"

"Y-Yeah."

Silence fogged around them.

"I like you too, Steve." Y/N said, then pecking him on the cheek.

Steve gave a nervous smile, if possible, blushing harder.
