Her hair rippled along with the wind as it teared at her white dress that wrapped around her body loosely. The black cloak that surrounded her body was clasped by a gold detailed clip. Resting above her head was a golden laurel.
Diana stood next to her. She introduced Y/N to Bruce was Bruce tried to be as charming as possible, hoping to make a good impression.
But with her sparkling e/c eyes that she met his blue dull ones with, he knew that she was going to be the death of him.
Maybe it was because she was a curious about the outside world from the stories that Diana told her, and maybe it was just because she was intrigued by the idea of a man.
People only saw her as Diana's hot cousin. Bruce didn't blame them, the first thing that struck to her was the little glow that sat on top of her skin. She looked like a goddess, not fit for the dirty world that they offered her.
It wasn't until he was alone with her when Diana and Clark had to fight a battle in the city while he was searching for a way to disable the reactor, that he realized that she was just as perfect as he thought, providing him with the solution.
Diana's smug face when he told her that she was the one that actually came up with the solution, that he knew that this wasn't a one time thing.
Bruce knew that was impossible for her to even think about him in the way he thought about her, or the way he craved and wanted her in the way that was almost obsessive.
He didn't dare speak a word. And he didn't need to.
Word got around that he had a thing for Y/N, she decided to confront him about it after a Justice League meeting. She waited for him outside the door wearing nothing but a white tank top and black shorts.
Bruce tried to explain everything but she redirected her question.
"Do you, how do you humans say it, like me or not?" He remembered her stating, bluntly.
He just nodded and waited for the worst.
But a grin broke out on her face as she looped her arms around him and pulled him in for a hug.
Thankfully she accepted his feelings, because if she didn't... The situation would've turned more depressing and bloody.

_____She looked at him sadly, almost like she pitied him. Bruce hated it. He hated the feeling of embarrassment that came afterward and the grief.
Y/N was too perfect for anyone else to have. She was untouchable. No one deserved to touch her, not even him.
He wished that he could've stayed by her side but since that encounter, it just got more awkward from there. Especially when she started seeing another superhero.
Bruce decided to take matters into his own hands.
The incident went viral as the public ate it all up as sadness and a tension in the League ate the superheroes up.
Bruce didn't care, because it could be taken care of. But if she gotten with the superhero, there would be trouble.
He convince himself that it was for the greater good that she would be single to help him not be distracted. But it only just got worse.
Part of him felt nothing, which scared him. He didn't want to be a cold-hearted killer.
His obsession soon turned into full time stalking, with him leaving little of her favorite flowers all over her house and little notes. Bruce didn't see the wrong in any of this. People had their hobbies and he had his.
Letting the sadness of the untouchable goddess drain him, the blood on his hands became hard to wash off as nightmares haunted him at night with the fright if being caught.
Not by the police, League or anyone else.
But her.
All the matters was that she was free, worshiped and safe.
Dating only brought her down as he observed when he let her date another mortal for a while. He would never allow that to happen again. He would never allow her not to be sad or chained down.
Because to him, she was the star that be so desperately wanted, but he couldn't. So he worshiped it instead and only wanted the best for her.
And that was for her to be free, even if that means isolation.
Everything was eating him up, sadness and grief clouded over his head as it rained thoughts about her.
And soon, it took the life of him. Leaving behind Y/N who for once, was truly free. But for a heavy price that she was unaware of.
