*Ashley POV*

Andy had bathed me and made sure that I was so perfectly clean before dressing me in my warm, freshly washed pajamas. He had the most concerned look in his eyes the whole time he washed me and wiped the vomit from my face. Every time he apologized for causing me so much pain I told him the same thing; "You're here now, that's all that matters."

I curled up into my bed. "Come back and cuddle! You're still the big spoon!" I felt the bed dip in behind me just a moment before I felt Andy's smooth arms wrap around me. The rest of his body followed, pressing against the back of mine. His head rested in the crook of my neck, his breath flowing past my face.

I was close to falling asleep, but it was too quiet. "Sing for me, Batman." I wiggled against him to make sure that he was awake to hear me.

Andy laughed, almost in a bit of a giggle, "And what shall I sing for you, Outlaw?" He nuzzled closer into my neck.

"Sing me..... Beautiful Remains!" I hadn't heard it in so long, and it sounded so perfect when Andy sang it without screaming when he got bored.

"Shit, Ash. It's been so long.... Give me a minute to remember it." He chuckled a bit and began humming to himself. I could feel it against my shoulder, I could hear it right in my ear. The low sound of him humming and mumbling made me drift off a bit. His singing woke me back up.

"We gather here to sing for you, the words you've written..." He sang slowly and softly. It was so delicate coming from him, it's not something that can be explained easily. His voice on the records was like a true fallen angel, but when he was just relaxed and made mistakes it was like he was connected to me. Hearing him sing to me made it seem like everything was right and perfect.

Andy's voice began to trail off and get quieter when he finished the song. "Do you want another, Ashes?" I nodded in reply, knowing he could feel me move against his head.

He began to mumble again, trying to remember some of our old favorites. "I am the heartache, you built by your deception" He was singing me Heaven's Calling. That song seemed to mean more when he was close to me. "Sleep forever now my darling..." He was so soft and warm, I was in absolute bliss.

I could see Andy drifting into my sight, but he had long, black hair. I was already dreaming, but I could still hear him singing into my ear. Dream-Andy came closer to me and brought his lips to my ear. He began to sing with the real Andy behind me. Between songs, dream-Andy looked at me and sighed, "I love you." The feeling that spread through me was like nothing I'd ever felt before. I knew it wasn't really Andy saying it, the voice I heard was muddled, distorted by my slightly hungover mind.

I shifted a bit against him, getting closer (if it was even possible). I could hear myself in my dream tell him, "I love you too, Andy." It surprised me, but seeing his face in my dream smile at me and fill with such a great joy cleared that all away.

*Andy POV*

I kept singing to Ashley. It felt right, and I could see the smile on his face begin to slip away between songs. "I'll carry you, my darkest desire..." I had decided to sing from Wretched and Devine when I heard something really unexpected.

"I love you too, Andy." He was talking in his sleep, and he was dreaming about me. Ashley had just said out loud that he loved me! The feeling in my heart spread throughout my body, it was warm and tingly, it was happiness mixed with knowing that I felt the same way.

I leaned my head back just enough so my lips grazed his ear, "I love you, Ashes." It felt natural, but the butterflies in my stomach threatened to erupt from my throat in a fit of giggles. I rested my head back into the crook of his neck and sang to him.
