Your POV
After Castiel left, things got complicated. I got drepressed and it led me to self-harm, and suicide attempt. But all of that got scooped out, just like that.
My suicide attempts were fair and it should've worked, but it didn't. Like someone saved me.
Then there comes hunting. I didn't hunt for... years. I left that life, I left Sam, I left Dean. I left it all. I found a new life and this guy made my life happy again. But it can't be measured by how Castiel makes me happy.
I grew up with (y/husband's/n), had kids and watched them grow like my parents did to me. I didn't tell them about hunting but (y/h/n) is the only person who knows my secret.
54 years flown by. Castiel was gone. I didn't see him since, God knows how long. I missed him. I knew he was with Sam and Dean but I couldn't bear seeing him again. After leaving me, I knew it broke my heart, but still, I would die without him.
It was my last day on earth, before they pull the plug. I will be leaving my kids for the other world.
"Ms. (Y/l/n)?" The nurse popped in. "Yes?"
"There is someone here to see you. He wouldn't go away." The nurse left and closed the door silently. Then the door opened a few moments later to the man I had always loved. That same tan trenchcoat, the flipped blue tie, his ruffled black hair and angelic eyes. He never changed. My one and only, Castiel.
"Cas?" I grinned. "(Y/n), sssshh." He patted my shoulder as I sobbed on his chest. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." Cas kissed my forehead and tears flowed down my cheeks. "(Y/n), I'm sorry I left you, it was a big mistake. I should've came back to you when I could. Now I can't heal you and I can't stop time. Sam and Dean died years back, I'm alone again."
He sobbed silently as the heart monitor slowed down. Beep, beep. It rang.
"It's okay... Sssshhh you can let go." Castiel whispered setting my back on the hospital bed as my crying stopped and everything was numb. "Cas, what about you?"
"I'll be fine. Besides, I'll see you soon." He smiled gently as my the heart monitor beeped fast and my eyes started dropping down.
"Goodnight Cas, I love you." I whispered with my last breath.
"Goodnight (y/n), sleep well okay? I love you." Castiel whispered and kissed my cheek. I smiled wearily and the heart monitor beeped continously. I can't breathe anymore. I sighed and my eyes closed. All I heard was Castiel's cry before everything goes black.
"Goodnight Cas, I love you."
"Goodnight (y/n), sleep well okay? I love you."
