Chapter 8: "Is It Snack Time Yet?"

You stare at this "Puppeteer" fella. "Well spread out a buffet or atleast some snacks if you're my host, because if we're getting into personal hells I'm not going far without some food," you growl, narrowing your eyes. Puppeteer just laughs at you, leaning over you as he whispers, "Oh we're getting very personal, (y/n). Now could you be a dear and stay put while I go get some special supplies?"

"I can't promise I won't try and escape," you respond, still glaring, "I've been through some sh¡t over the past few weeks and by now I just want to go home and sleep."

"Oh you'll get plenty of sleep when I'm done with you," he chuckled. As he exited the room, he asked, "By the way, what are your opinions on fish?"

Letting out a huff, you mumble, "They taste good oven-baked and dipped in sweet cheese sauce." Puppeteer laughed once more and left the room.

Mere seconds later, someone else came in. "Did you get those snacks?" you ask sarcastically, trying to look over your shoulder.

"What snacks?" responds a voice that is not Puppeteer's. Or a male's for that matter. A little girl in a tattered pink dressed walked around to stand in front of you.

You stare at her in shock, whisper-screaming, "Kid, what are you doing here?!? Don't you know this place is full of psycho killers?!?"

She nods slowly and replies, "Yes, but they aren't like that everywhere. Where I'm from, they took me in when I was dying."

"What?"

"I followed my big bubby here when he came through," she whispered, smiling sweetly.

After a few confused blinks, you open your mouth to speak when she continues, "I'll explain later, okay?" She looks down at your belly, looking shocked. "Whoa," she whispers, "you don't have a baby?"

Your face flames up bright red in embarrassment. "No, why would I?"

"Because-" she began, only for the door to fly open. Her eyes go wide in terror, and you can only think the worst.

"Oh you little sh¡t," you hear, immediately recognizing the voice of Masky from that horrific night. Every single cell of blood in your body goes cold. He charges around you to get to the little girl, who in response screams, shoves something in your hand, and runs out the door.

Masky grabs a chunk of your hair and pulls your head towards him a bit. "I'll deal with you later," he growls. He then lets go and chases after the girl. You look down at the item in your hand, seeing a small knife. It looked flimsy, but sharp enough to cut the ropes tying you down. Seeing a glimmer of hope, you begin to aw the ropes.
