(((((Sorry for the late posting! :3 I've been caught up with Calculus homework and a bit of Economics. Anyways, enjoy the book three teaser!)))))

"Sad to see them go," L.J. chuckled, watching the vehicle pull away.

Hoodie nodded solemnly, refusing to respond. Two weeks since Mist was born, and already Masky and (y/n) were leaving to start their own life. He could hardly grasp the idea that one of Slender's proxies were basically retiring.

L.J. looked back at Slender. "Do you have any idea who will replace him now that he is gone?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.

"As of now, the position is not open for any interviews," Slender harshly replied. "I will give it a few weeks until I choose Masky's replacement. Is that understood? Everyone gathered on the front lawn nodded. They all knew Slender took his words to heart. And he never forgot them, no siree!

L.J. nudged Hoodie, muttering, "I'm surprised you let them go that easily, Hoods. Who's gonna be your B.F.F. now?"

Hoodie stared at L.J. with a blank expression. "Like Slender said for the proxy position, I'm waiting a few weeks to even think about it."

Hoodie stretched his sore muscles, letting out a loud yawn as he walked away from L.J.. He didn't want to hear that clown's response. He just wanted to relax. To get away from the other pastas in a place they would leave him alone.

Next to the pond.

None of them ever went near it in fear of falling in, except for him. He didn't care anymore. He would use it as an scape from this world, and use it to distract from his problems long enough to collect his thoughts and think rationally about whatever situation stood before him. Because near the pond, or in it, everyone else just disappeared when he stared into the ever-moving suface of the water.

Hoodie hasn't told anyone about his strange adventure in the latest reality, or about the other Slenderman. If Slender found out there was a reality that had a different him, he would go ballistic.

He'd go through himself, putting all the pastas in danger, just to eliminate the deadly threat of himself. (((((Wow I got unintentionally deep..... IN THE POND!) :'D Okay I'm done!)))) Now that was dedication. Willingness to kill yourself because you knew you were a threat to others.

Shaking his head to clear his mind, Hoodie stared into the depths of the pond. He didn't know who, but he wanted to tell somebody about what went on. "YO HOODS," Hoodie heard Toby yelling from the back porch, "C'MON MAN, DIN DIN IS READY!"

Hoodie looked back at the mansion, calling back in monotone, "YEAH I'LL BE RIGHT THERE JUST GIVE ME A SECOND!" He growled at himself and stood up, turning from the pond to leave. As he went to take a step, something held him back.

It was cold, wet, and wrapped around his ankle. With curious eyes, he looked down at his foot. Around his ankle was a gloved hand. His gloved hand. He looked back at the pond, seeing the clear water churning into an inky black sludge.

The hand pulled itself out, an arm and even a shoulder to it. It was Hoodie's hoodie, but darker. Almost orange. The further the darker Hoodie came through the pond, the more it started to shake.

But not really shake, more like a rippling glitch.

It took a few minutes, but finally the darker Hoodie was fully through. The darker Hoodie let go of Hoodie's foot, standing up in full height. Its entire body rippled and glitched, as if it wasn't meant to be in this world.

Hoodie slowly began to walk backwards, doing his best to contain his fear. But the darker him kept his pace. The creature in front of Hoodie opened its mouth, whispering in a raspy voice, "Hello, Brian."

(((((Oh yeah, I absolutely adore this! This will be reposted as the Prologue for book three so you can just skip that if you want.)))))
