Chapter 27 - Nickname

Ro's PoV;
I knock on the door of Eric's apartment and he answers quickly.
I walk inside and head to
His bedroom to get into my Pyjamas.

When I come out Eric Is shirtless and has sweatpants on.
"Hey baby girl" Eric says as he nears me
"Hey big boy" I reply.
"Do you want something to eat?" He asks and I nod.

We head to the kitchen and when we arrive he opens his freezer.

He pulls out some ice cream and I read the label.
It says 'cookie dough'

"My favourite!" I say.
"Good" he says and pulls out two spoons.
We walk to the living room and go to the movie shelf.

The options this time are
'Daddy's home' , 'up' and 'suicide squad'

We eventually decide on suicide squad.
We sit down and the movie begins to play.

The joker pops up and I look at him.He is the best looking joker out of the movies I've seen.
He is actually quite handsome.
I must be looking too long because Eric huffs.

"Don't tell me Jared Leto is also hotter than me." He says and I giggle.
"I'm starting to think you don't love me" he pouts and I laugh.

"I do I do but I mean,look at his Abs!" I say in disbelief.
Eric points to his 6-turning 8 pack.
"What is this" he says.

I reach out and run my hand along his abs.

"Your so cute when your jealous" I say and he just covers up by saying
"I don't do cute" in a serious tone.
"Well I think I'm gonna give you a nickname!" I say and Eric looks at me.
"And what would that be?" He asks.

"Captain cuteness" I say and Eric laughs
"Well I have one for you too!" He says
"What is it?" I ask.
"Little one" he says and my heart drops
"Awwww captain cuteness that's so cute." I say and he groans.
"Don't push it little one"
"K Eric stop"
"Fine" he replies.

"I can't wait to show you my toys"

Our attention is back on the movie we sit here for the whole thing,Stuffing our faces with ice cream.
When it ends I check the time and it's 9:30.

"It's too early to sleep but too late to do anything...."I say and Eric smirks.

"It's not to late to have a drink" he says and I nod.

"But I'm in my pyjamas" I say and Eric laughs.
"Go get changed the dress from the party is in my closet." He states.
"Okay" I say standing up to get dressed.

Once I'm dressed I walk into the bathroom where I left some mascara and lisptick.
I apply it and walk back Into Eric's living room.

"You look beautiful as always" Eric says kissing my forehead.
"Thank you" I say and notice he has changed also.
"You look amazing too" I say looking him up and down.

We make our way down to the bar and sit on the stools.
"What can I get you?" The barman asks and Eric looks at me.

"Two grape sodas please" Eric says and looks at me.
"Just because I have initiation doesn't mean you have to drink soda." I say and he smiles.
"May I remind you I have initiation also." He says reminding me he is a trainer.

"Oh yeah" I say and smile and the drinks come out.
We just sit,talk,laugh and sip on our sodas for a while.

That girl called Mia comes over and stands across from Eric.She leans on the bar and says
"Next drink is on the house" she says and grabs two more grape sodas.

They are sealed so I know she hasn't tampered with them.
"Thanks" I say.

She ignores me and looks at Eric.
"You know you should wear less clothes,you would look a lot hotter" she says winking.

Eric smirks and I'm ready to pounce.
"Mabye you should stop breathing you might be less desperate"he says and her jaw drops in shock.

I snort and look at her,she has hurt in her eyes.
"What never been rejected before?" I ask laughing slightly.

She once again ignores me and looks at Eric.
"You'll be sorry" she says and I look at her
"Bitch leave us alone" I say and she walks around the bar to me.

She gets in my face and says "bitch make me"
I grab my grape soda and pour it over her hair,tinting it purple.

"Oh my god,you actual cunt!" She shouts and I see Eric laughing silently.

Mia runs off and I lean on Erics shoulder.
"Good job little one" he says.
"You too captain cuteness" I say laughing to myself.

We finish our third drink and it is 11:00.
We decide to head back to Eric's apartment.

I get back into my pyjamas and Eric does the same.
His idea of a pyjamas is a pair of shorts.men are so weird.

I get into bed and feel Eric plop down beside me.
His arm automatically wraps around my back.I nuzzle my head into his shoulder and he rests his head ontop of mine.

I intwine my fingers with his and say
"I love you Eric"
"I love you too" he replies.

I love how we don't push that word,it just comes naturally.
You can't push love,it doesn't work that way.

I tried to push things with Zach and you saw how that worked out.

Sometimes it's good to leave relationships on a slow burner.
I know Eric and I know we haven't been together very long but we are going at our own pace and that is what matters.

Love at first sight is a thing.
I think that that is what always happens with relationships.
Your brain has already decided your feelings but you haven't come to terms with the fact of it at the time.

That's like with me and Eric.I have always felt this way about him,I have always loved him.
Some say that that word is too strong but I believe if you love someone you love them,no matter what happens.

"Goodnight little one"
"Night captain cuteness"
"Ok but in the morning we are talking about that nickname" he says.
"Ok captain cuteness."I say,trying to get on his nerves.
"Ro" he says warningly.
"Yes captain cuteness?" I say and I laugh slightly.

"Good night Ro" he says.
"Good night Eric" I reply.

Soon after I close my eyes darkness engulfs me and I dream about Eric all night long.
