"Ngh," Lucy moaned as she awoke. Her eyes opened, greeted a streak of golden morning light filtering through her window.
She was about to roll over, but felt something in her way. Lucy looked over her left shoulder to see a wavy, beautiful mess of blue hair.
Juvia's eyes and above were the only parts of her that weren't under the blanket. Her fingers were wrapped around the top of the blankets. Lucy smiled at the other girl, gently nudging what she thought was Juvia's shoulder.
Juvia opened her eyes halfway, still mostly asleep. "Warm..." She sighed as she snuggled closer to where Lucy lay, falling back asleep instantly.
It can't hurt to miss just one day at the guild, Lucy thought as she carefully turned towards Juvia.
Their foreheads were barely two inches apart when Lucy fell asleep.
As they slept, though unaware of it, they snuggled closer and closer until they were entangled together so much that it could not be determined whose limbs were whose.
