"You were in the Australian government, military, secret service, and special intelligence units? And you killed people for a living? For years during college? And you didn't say anything?" Thea said bewildered

"I couldn't tell people, I could quickly become someone else's target if I did. And once I got out of all that, I didn't really wanna talk about it" Mack explained as she took another drag from her cigarette. Thea glared as she snatched it from Mackenzie and tossed it into the garbage before continuing.

"I'm not mad. I'm just...surprised. You never came off as a Secret Spy Murderess to me" Thea chuckled. Mackenzie was incredibly grateful that Thea wasn't mad, "I mean a lot of people don't like to talk about their time in the military, Ollie doesn't like to talk about the island, there are somethings people think are better left unsaid I guess" Thea sighed.

Mack hugged her and planted a kiss on her head.

"Be patient with him. He needs you Thea, and he just wants to protect you I'm sure. I think we both know Ollie isn't great with the truth, I know it's hard, but give him time and reasons, he'll come around. And if he won't for you, he won't for anyone--that's for sure" Mack comforted Thea

"I feel like he's so far away" She sighed sadly

"I know that he wants to be right here with you, but it's hard for him. He's got a different mind now" Mackenzie tried to explain

"Okay speaking of different mind you're Azura? The electric superhero?!?" Thea asked, turning to Mack and grinning

"No. I hate the word superhero. I'm a... protecter of people. Saver of people. Whatever you please" Mackenzie chuckled

"Now that I can see" Thea smiled

"Okay love, I'm going to go get this bullet checked out, you stay safe, your helicopter is still at Verdant by the way" Mack said as she stood

"Careful Kenzie. Anything happens to you and you know Ollie and I are gonna be on your ass" Thea smirked as she hugged Mack goodbye

"I know. Same goes to you two. Stay safe Thea, love you!" Mack called as she walked down the hall

"Love you too" Thea smiled

Damn we're lucky to have her, Thea thought to herself as she watched Mackenzie's bouncy ponytail swing away.

"Barry?" Mack said when he picked up the phone

"Where are you?" He replied, annoyed. Yikes.

"Thea's hous-" He had already hung up.

Seconds later he was in front of Mack, glaring. She sighed and held her arms out so he could more easily pick her up. Once he had, they ran all the way back to S.T.A.R Labs.

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING MACKENZIE?!" Barry yelled once Caitlin had started working on taking the bullet out of her arm.

"There was a room full of innocent people AND my friends?! What did you think I was gonna do?!" Mackenzie yelled back

"Call me?! Wait till I showed up?! KNOCK THE GUYS OUT?! YOU KILLED THEM MACK" Barry screamed, distraught and disgusted. How could she just take a life like that? Just kill people without remorse?! Sure they were bad, but they didn't deserve to die.

"You weren't there Barry, you were late--as always! And I wasn't going to let innocent people get hurt, so I acted! You aren't the only one in here that can save people!" Mackenzie retorted loudly

"Mack hold still if you don't want me to break open one of your major arteries!" Caitlin scolded.

"I've been worse, you know that" Caitlin smiled slightly and shook her head at Mackenzie's comment.
